M&L of treatment of spalled concrete cover of RCC section as per manufacturer’s instructions with following course of description below :- (a) Prepration of existing surfaces like chipping of unsound weak / loose concrete/cover of reinforcement & support the structure provisionally during repair work and maintaining them in position till required (b) Clean exist reinforcement with wire brush/rotary wire brush to make surface free from rust scales, loose material, etc, complete and applying two coats of alkaline rust converting primer Sika RustOff-100 or equivalent with a coverage of 350gm/sqm on the existing rebar and allowing it to react with rust for 6 hrs and form a corrosion resistant, insoluble and adherent protective layer, including cleaning the reinforcement, wire brushing to remove the rust spalls, with time interval of 1 hour between the coats.

(c) Providing and application of zinc rich epoxy antocorrosive protective coating for rebar corrosion protection system Sika Friazinc R® or equivalent in 2 coats of 0.4 kg/m2. The product should confirm carbonation resistance of 2 mm and bond strength > 1N/mm2 according to ASTM C 882-78. (d) Fixing additional TMT rebar Fe415 in various structural elements such as columns, beams, and slabs etc. to replace the lost rebar section due to corrosion including cutting, bending and fixing the bar by installing new rebar with Epoxy Acrylate based anchoring adhesive Sika AnchorFix 3030 Tropical or equivalent complete incl drilling of 10-16 mm dia upto 100 mm deep for rebaring complete all as specified and directed. Note : TMT bar shall be measured and paid separatly.

(e) Providing, mixing & applying two component Epoxy resin concrete Bonding coat on prepared RCC surfaces as per manufacture specification including preparation of surface by chipping and thoroughly cleaning of surface complete wherever required with with Sikadur®-32 LP or equivalent in consumption of 0.4 kg/m2. The product should comply with ASTM C 881 Type II Grade 2 Class B+C and bond strength should be 10 MPa. (f) Rebuilding the section of structutal damaged spalled concrete or RCC elements to its original size in average thickness of 15-20mm by providing and applying with pre-batched, one component fiber reinforced cementitious patch repair mortar Sika® MonoTop® -122 F or equivalent having compressive strength >= 50 N/mm2 (28 days) according to ASTM C 109; flexural strength >= 5N/ mm2 (7 days) according to ASTM C 293-79.

M&L for drilling 12mm dia x 200mm deep in various structrural elements such as columns, beams and slabs etc. to replace the lost rebar section due to corrosion including cutting, bending and fixing the bar by installing new rebar with epoxy acrylate based anchoring adhesive complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins,arches, pillars,etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with old size full brick subclass ‘B’ burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with old size half brick subclass ‘B’ burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:1.5:3) type A-0, using 12.5mm graded stone aggregates, as in concrete angle-fillets with a radiaus of 75mm shall be provided at junctions between roofs, floor and vertical faces of walls (parapet, pillar for water tank staging and sunken floor) around obstacles such as pipes, chimney stacks, etc. and other similar situation to ease up about corners mixed with integral water proofing compound as per manufactur direction). Note :- integral water proofing compound will be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregates, as in kerb/ benching/ coping, bed plates, for fixing of hold fast, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2, (40 mm graded stone agg) as in sub base of floor/ hardstanding/ footpath complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 25 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B0 (12.5 mm graded stone agg) as in sub floor of flooring complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces of ceiling by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spot and applying two coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for three coats of white wash on new ceiling surfaces including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of external wall all as prescribed by manufacture of paint and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint (walmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note:- (i) The newly plastered surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of emulsion paint. The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii) The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii) All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv) after carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building. (v) The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE / AGE (I). (vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of exterior wall by complete removal of existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers, then washing the surface with Bleaching powder solution for treatment of fungal growth and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint of required shade (wallmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of point and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note: (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour and T&P required for preparation of surface are demand to be included in the rates quoted. (ii) The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of interior wall by application of wall care putty to remove the dent and to make the surface even and smooth by grinding or rubbing with sand paper and applying two coats of acrylic distemper over a coat of primer using roller all as specified and prescribed by manufacturer of paint/ distemper and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note:- (i) The new surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even and smooth all as per manufacture’s instruction before application of distemper The cost of all material T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted . (ii) The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone agg) mixed with Liquid intergal water proofing compoud as per manufacturer direction and finishing the surface even and smooth with out using extra cement as in roof padding/ leveling course of slope over roof to receive roof treatment complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Liquid intergal water proofing compoud shall be measured and paid separately as supply only.

M&L for one coat of cement slurry admixed with acrylic bonding compound SBR Latex liquid polymer (slurry will be prepared as per manufacturer direction) as to be used for bonding of new concrete/ mortar to old surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick protection plaster in CM (1:4) as in floor and wall with polymer modified repair mortar (SBR Latex liquid polymer as per manufactur direction ) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (SBR) Latex liquid polymer will be measured and paid seperately..

M&L for water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer’s instructions with following course of description below :- (a) Applying a priming coat of bituminious primer @ 0.30 Kg /Sqm, till the surface is properly impregnated. (b) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3.6Kg/ Sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) centre core, laid on primed surface by forced applications as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75 mm and end overlap of 100 mm. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch ) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer (c) Apply two coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm over APP membrance

Note : (i) The work of water proofing treatment shall be got executed through authorised applicator of the manufacturer only and 10 year company back warranty to be submitted by contractor. (ii) The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof slab for double storeyed. The contractor shall make arrangement of scaffolding, safety and security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof. The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items.

Supply only SBR Latex liquid polymer of approved make complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for two coat of acrylic polymer modified cementitious flexible waterproof coating on horizontal and vertical surface for sunken floor as per manufacturer direction after base preparation of cleaning, brushing and removal of flaky materials.
