Supply, Install, Testing and commissioning of Silent Diesel Engine driven Generating Set of Capacity 75 KVA / 60 KW, 415 Volts, Three Phase, 4 Wire, Engine as per IS – 10001 / 10002 and Alternator as per IS – 13364, conforming to CPCB-02 approved norms complete with relay panel for automatic starting on main failure, control panel having meters, sound proof canopy as per relevant IS and foundation etc. including following: [Make: Kirloskar Green / cummins / Ashok Leyland / Greaves Cotton]

A. ENGINE: Direct Injection, Water Cooled Engine, 6 Cylinder, in-line, 4 Stroke, rated at 1500 RPM, conforming to BS – 5514 and having following specifications: [i] In- line fuel pump with Electronic Governor for 75 KVA. [ii] Turbocharger [iii] Stainless Steel Exhaust Flexible Coupling and Exhaust Pipe duly insulated with Glass Fire Wool and Plain GI Sheet Cladding & extended outside the building. D. FUEL TANK: In-Built Fuel Tank of suitable capacity for minimum 12 Hours run but not less than 230 Litres capacity with all fittings and accessories.

E. ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: [i] Designed to meet stringent MOEF / CPCB norms 75 dBA @ 1 m at 75% load under free field conditions. [ii] Air Inlet Louvers shall be designed to operate at rated load even at 50°C Air Inlet Temperature. [iii] Cubicle shall be powder coated for long lasting service life and super finish with UV Resistant Powder Coating and shall withstand extreme environment. Stain Steel hardware shall be used. [iv] Insulation Material shall meet / conform to IS – 8183 Specifications for better sound attenuation [v] Provision of Genset Controller for Engine & Alternator.

F. ACCESSORIES: [i] Periodical Maintenance Tools as per Manufacture [ii] Operational, Spare Parts, & Installation Guidelines and Catalogue.

Note: Rate quoted is also deemed to be including the following: [i] Provision of 200mm thick PCC 1:1½:3, Type A1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate Foundation over 200mm thick PCC 1:4:8, Type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate over 200mm thick Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick complete as per manufacturer's instructions with Anti-Vibration Mounting Pads as per manufacturer’s guidelines including necessary earthwork excavation, return filling, removal surplus soil and applying two coats of Cement Based paint over a coat of Alkali Resistant Primer complete etc. complete all as directed. [ii] Testing of DG Set shall be carried out by the IEM. [iii] Artificial load i.e. strip heaters of suitable capacity to be made available during test. [iv] Extended terminals with tinned copper has to be provided for terminating the incoming & out going cable with suitable lugs for ACB’s / MCCB's if required. [v] U/G cable shall be laid / connected to DG Set Cubicle Panel to AMF Control Panel [Changeover Panel] all as specified. [vi] Provision of cable gland & Aluminium lugs of suitable size for terminating the cable at both ends. [vii] DG Set shall be covered with Galvalume Sheet Roofing / Canopy of minimum size of 2.80m X 1.20m X 1.60m with pre-painted Galvalume steel sheets of Trapezoidal profile having pitch 190mm, depth 29mm and thickness 0.50mm [Galvalume base-PPGL trapezoidal profile sheets], having tensile strength of 550 Mpa, fixed with aluminium self tapping screws, neoprene and EPDM washers of suitable size and using Mild Steel Tubular Trusses, Posts, Frame work etc. including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes confirming to IS - 1161, Grade YST - 240, Medium Grade of approved sections complete all as directed and the rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same. [viii] Exhaust Pipe shall be insulated with 25mm thick Resin Bonded Fibre Glass Wool of density 32 kg/Cu.m and wrapped with 24 SWG Aluminium sheet duly painted with approved colour & quality complete as per ISO 8528 and 3046 / BS 5514 Specification and IS – 4722 and IS – 1460 complete all as specified.

Earthing complete with Galvanised Steel Earth Plate Electrode 600 X 600 X 6 mm thick buried directly in ground [earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level] with top edge of Plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level connected to 32 X 6mm GI Strip [Earth Lead] and GI pipe 50 mm, Medium Grade for earthing lead protection to the extent of maximum 7.5m, Earth Plate Electrode surrounded by 150mm thick packed layers of Charcoal and Common Salt filled in alternate layers, connected to the Plate by means of GI Bolts & Nuts complete all as per Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part – I, connected to panel / DB including testing on completion including main earthing, Charcoal, Common Salt, PCC [1:2:4, Type B1] Pit with RCC 1:2:4, Type B1 Cover, 50 mm thick with 6 Nos, 8 mm dia TMT bars in both ways, MS frame made with 40 X 40 X 6 mm Angle Iron, MS Funnel with 20 mm bore, medium grade GI Watering pipe, wire mesh, earth work excavation, return filling, removal of surplus soil etc. and disconnecting and taking down existing Earthing of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep in Soft / Loose soil for laying Pipes / Cables etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note: A deduction of 10% shall be made from total computed volume of filling to cater in bulk irrespective of machinery used for ramming.

Removal of excavated material [Soil] to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Dry River Sand cushioning over and around the cable for cable protection in trenches, levelled and punned down complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The punned down thickness shall be measured for payment.

Supplying and laying un–reinforced Precast Concrete Cable Cover, Class LV, Type 3, Flat, of size 450mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, laying and testing XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed, FRLS, armoured heavy duty underground cable, ISI marked with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade of size 3½ Core, 150 Sq.mm cross section suitable for earthed system, laying in trenches / duct / fixed to poles / drawn through pipes / sleeving through pipe in duct, including suitable size Double compression copper stainless steel cable gland, crimping type cable lugs, sockets etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
