Waterproofing of various buildings roof at HWP (K) Plant Site

Providing all tools, tackles, material, manpower, machinary for Removal of old tarfelt bitumen layer/APP membrane etc. completely from roof at all height including cleaning of surface to make it completely free from debries, dust etc. & disposal of old layers, membranes, debris with all lift to the disposal yard within 2 km from the site etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC.

Dismantling old plaster/mortar of any type of mix and thickness completely from roof & parapet at all height by mechnical means of cutting, chipping, hammering & grinding including cleaning of surface to make it completely free from debries, dust etc. & disposal of debris with all lift to the disposal yard within 2 km from the site etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC. Note: 1. Hammering shall not be carried out by more than 2 Pound Hammer. 2. Chipping /Hammering action shall be carried out using light chipping hammer only.

Providing all tools, tackles, material, manpower, machinary for Removal of bitumen, bitumen primer, bitumen adhesives etc. completely from roof at all height by mechnical means of grinding including cleaning of surface to make it completely free from dust, oil, bitumen primer etc. & disposal of debris etc. with all lift to the disposal yard within 2 km from the site etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC.

Providing, mixing and applying Bonding coat of cementitious bond coat modified with SBR Polymer of Dr. fixit/Fosroc/Sika make @ 2.2 kg cement per sqm of surface area mixed with specified proportion of approved polymer by chipping the portion of Plaster/RCC at all level complete as per the manufacturer specifications and as directed by EIC.

Providing, mixing and applying Modified Cement mortar of average 12mm thickness in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with SBR polymer of Dr. fixit/Fosroc/Sika make mixed in specified proportion at all level & surface complete as per the manufacturer specifications and as directed by EIC. Note: 1. Measurement and payment: Any variation in thickness above than 12 mm will be paid by converting volume into equivalent surface area. The pre-measurement of thickness shall be done just after the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument and/or the 75mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28 days to be not less than 30 N/sqmm2). 2. Cement mortar of average thickness more than 12 mm shall be carried out in successive layers and nothing extra will be paid on this account.

Providing and laying in position Cement concrete of 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 10 mm or 20 mm nominal size based on site condition) of any thickness at all level by chipping the existing concrete/plaster surface, including the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing, curing complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC.

Extra for providing and mixing Integral water proofing material of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika make in cement concrete work at all level in doses by weight of cement as per manufacturer's specification and as directed by EIC.

Providing and applying fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of minimum 105 on top of concrete roof at all level in three coats @ minimum 10.76 litre/ 10 sqm or as per manufacturers specifications. First coat of self-priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 2:1 or as per manufacturers specifications) and Second and third coat of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application/system not less than 500 microns). Provide, Cover & press the 45 GSM glass fibre mesh in complete area to soak after immediate application of 2nd coat. Allow 2nd coat to dry for 4-6 hrs before application of 3rd coat. The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles, dust, oil, graese etc. with wire brushes, water jet, sealing of cracks by providing and applying suitable Primer & PU crack sealer compounds after by making V Grooves, complete in all respect as per the manufacturer specifications and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1. It may please be noted that the contractor shall execute Guarantee bond in the prescribed form (on stamp paper of Rs. 100/- minimum or as directed by EIC) of the department for a period of Five years for leak proof function of the structures wherever this waterproofing item is executed. 2. Laying of glass fiber mesh includes making provision of 25x25 mm groove for tucking mesh inside the groove, including filling & finishing of the groove with cement mortal of mix 1:4 (1 Cement:4 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645.

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) brick of class designation 7.5 in cement mortar 1:6 (1 Cement: 6Coarse Sand) at all heights including providing scaffolding, curing etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Dismantling C.I./Asbestous/ P.V.C rain water pipe upto 4" dia. with fittings and clamps at all height by making necessary arrangements like scaffolding etc & stacking the servicable material to civil store and disposal of unservicable material to the disposal yard within 2 km from the site etc. complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC.

Providing and fixing on wall face 110 mm diameter unplasticised Rigid PVC rain water pipes conforming to IS : 13592 Type A upto 15 m height, including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS : 5382, leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion single socket pipe and clamping (top,middle & bottam) with wall by making all necessary arrangements like scaffolding etc all complete as per the specifications and as directed by EIC.

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised - PVC moulded fittings/accessories up to 15 m height as below for unplasticised Rigid PVC rain water pipes conforming to IS : 13592 Type A, including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS : 5382, leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion:
