Desilting of earth, silt, garbage, slush and other solid deposits etc. from the existing canal mannually to bring it to the required section for smooth flow in the canal including disposal of excavated material outside of the canal with a lead of 50 m. and all lifts including execution of work in or under water, liquid mud and under foul conditions including the cost of taking care of canal section. Dewatering of stagnent or flowing or seepage water/sludge/liquid marsy entering into the canal from any sources as required for satisfactory execution of work including taking out the excavated material outside the canal as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. Disposal of excavated materials, such as earth, silt, garbage, slush and other solid deposits etc. to be deposited & properly levelled over the canal embankment.

Single bamboo palasiding/walling of whole 2nd class bamboo (Jati or Bethua) 65 to 75 mm dia and closely packed & driven @ 150 mm c/c including fitting fixing with half bamboo kamis horizontally in three rows with cane or tying with wire complete and struts 1.5 m apart longitudinally and providing bitumen drum sheet walling fixed with nails as per drawing and MoRD technical specification Clause 1302.50 A) Driven at least 900 mm below ground and 1200 mm above ground on average.

Providing and placing gunny / polythine (of minimum wall thickness of 500 microns) bags filled with sand (of minimum qty of 0.034 cum) and properly manually stitched to avoid any leakage of sand as per specification.

Preparation of sub-grade & side slope for canal lining section with compaction of bed & side slope by wooden or steel rammers of minimum 10kg weight in/c making profile as per approved drawing & lining the same with first class bricks of flat with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 river sand) with joint finished smooth an under layer of 6 mm thick cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement: 5 river sand) as per approved drawing & curing the same in/c balling out water when ever required with all lead & lift complete.

Plastering with cement mortar (1:4) 12 mm thick on brickwork / cc work including a finishing coat of neat cement punning with 2.75 kg of cement per sqm in substructure as per MoRD technical specification Clauses 613.4 & 1204.

Manufacturing of Cement Concrete Block with mix 1:4: 8( 1 Cement : 4 River sand : 8 Jhama brick agreegate of 40 mm nominal size) including centering & shuttering of size 0.45 m X 0.45 m X 0.30 m and engraving the serial number of each block as per direction of the Engineer - in- Charge.

Placing of sand cement/cement concrete blocks of size 0.45m X 0.45m X 0.30m in slope of river bnak and in river bed including preperation of bed or launching apron as per direction of the Engineer - in- Charge. i) Cement concrete block

Construction of Embankment with approve Material obtained from Borrow pits with all lifts, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead up to 1000 m as per MoRd Technical Specification clauses of section 301.5.

Labour charge for watch & ward, for operation of barrage gate, for smooth supply of irrigation water at canal at day or night including removal of all kinds of floating garbage from ponding and canals as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
