RE-CONDITIONING OF FILTER BEDS NO 3 & 4 OF RAW WATER TREATMENT PLANT

Excavating & removing of old filter media sand & grit and storage the same with a distance of 50 mtr. As directed by Engg-In-Charge.

Removing of old filter media (Gravel of different sizes) after washing with soda ash including screening etc. ( Soda will be supplied by the party) to a distance of 50Mt. as direction of factory authority and refilling in filter bed as per direction of Engg-In-Charge.

Supply & relaying of filter sand of effective size 0.45 to 0.70 mm of uniformity co-efficient between 1.34 to 1.70 in filter bed as per the specification as directed by Engg-In-Charge. ( Test certificate from accredited laboratory be produced by the firm )

M & L for laying filter media with naturally rounded stone of size and thickness as under layer of 5mm to 2mm grit-60mm thick in filter bed as all specified and directed. ( Note : Consolidated thickness to be measured for payment purpose ) .

M & L for laying filter media with naturally rounded stone of size and thickness as under layer of 12mm to 5mm grit-60mm thick. in filter bed as all specified and directed. ( Note : Consolidated thickness to be measured for payment purpose ) .

M & L for laying filter media with naturally rounded stone of size and thickness as under layer of 20mm to 12mm grit-90mm thick. in filter bed as all specified and directed. ( Note : Consolidated thickness to be measured for payment purpose ) .

Repairing/replacement of damaged manometer.

Supply, laying & jointing of HDPE pipe of 6kg/sq.cm (ISI marked) of 50 mm dia including necessary fitting like GI Tee, HDPE socket and GI dummy plug etc. at 120 deg. Intervals and remove all old HDPE pipes.

Preparation of old painted surface and painting two coat of black Japan paint with primer on GI pipes & valves.

Preparation of old painted plastered surfaces by brushing with steel wire brush, scraping down smoke soot, mould moss, efflorescent salt, treading oil and greasy spot etc. and applying two coats of white wash on wall to the satisfaction of E-IN-C.

S & F of 80mm medium grade tube galvanized with all fitting and fixed complete to wall or laid in floor as per direction of EIC.

S & F of 50mm GI socket fixed complete to wall or laid in floor as per direction of EIC.

Making of 50mm dia hole on 80mm dia GI pipe and welding of 50mm dia GI socket .
