Special Repairs and Maintenance of Lighthouse Tower and Reconstruction of Powerhouse Building at Thangassery Point Lighthouse

PART -A- POWER HOUSE BUILDING - Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood) shutter (Of area 3 sq. metres and below) including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within 50 metres lead including cost of all material, labour, tools & plants etc complete.

Taking out existing wooden door / window shutter, repair by cutting, painting etc. and refixing of repaired door shutters to existing door frames, including replacement of hinges with screws, etc. as required, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.etc cost of all materials labour, tools and plants etc complete as directed.

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.etc cost of all materials labour, tools and plants etc complete as directed.

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge in cement mortar etc cost of all materials labour, tools and plants,scaffolding etc complete as directed.

Earth work in excavation in all kind of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering CC 1:4:8, (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) etc cost of all materials labour, tools and plants etc complete as directed.

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) upto plinth level with Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) etc cost of all materials labour, tools and plants etc complete as directed.

Reinforced cement concrete of grade 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor five level excluding the cost of finishing and reinforcement but including supply of all materials, labour, tools & plants, centering & shuttering,scaffolding etc complete as directed.

Steel reinforcement for RCC work bend tied and placed in position with Thermo-Mechanically Treated (TMT) bars of grade Fe-500D or more conforming to relavent ISI specifications inluding supply of all binding wire etc cost of all materials labour, tools and plants,scaffolding etc complete as directed.

Brick work with common burnt clay selected F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in exposed brick work including making horizontal and vertical grooves 10 mm wide 12 mm deep complete in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) from ground level upto floor V level etc. including cost of all materials labour, tools and plants,scaffolding etc complete as directed.
