Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminious macadam surface in area not exec 400 Sqm exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm deep including removing to a distance not exc 50 m and stacking complete all as specified and directed.

Screening road metal, chippings, etc., on the site of the work and removing screened materials clear off the screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (materials from both sides of screen measured).

M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of lime stone, flint or Quartzite sand stone of grading 2(60 to 40 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated with 8 to 10 capacity power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed

All as per item No 3 above but except material complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bitumen primer @ 10 kg/10 Sqm (paving bitumen grade VG-10) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Premix bituminous, macadam using paving bitumen grade VG-10 any penetration content @ 4% by weight of total mix laid /rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8-10 tonne power roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (any consolidated thickness) including preparing existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen grade VG-10) @ 5 kg/ 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for repair to potholes any depth and not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premix bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with liquid seal coat consist of binder 9.80 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping 6.3mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam and binder and chipping,, depth of pot holes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen grade VG-10) @ 5 kg/ 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed

M&L for laying bituminious premixed carpet 40 mm thick consolidated thickness,with 0.54 cum of stone chippings mixed with 29.20 kg of binder rolled and spread with mechanical paver and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed

M & L for liquid seal coat with binder @ 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm (paving bitumen) blinding with 6.3mm size stone chippings @ 0.09 Cum per 10 Sqm rolled and compacted with exceeding 8 ton but not exceeding 12 ton power roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing and applying 2.5mm thick road marking strips (retro reflective) with glass beads of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic material applicator machine filled with profile shoe, glass beads dispensers, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced opertator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign materials etc., complete all as specified and as directed

S & F in repair delineator post size 900mm long made of 50mm bore MS pipe of light grade painted with stove enamelled black paint and 3 nos of retro reflective high intensity grade sheeting in White/ Red/ Yellow colours each size 100mm high bounded on it and delineator post 30cm long protection cage of MS welded Zinc plated 12 gauge wire mesh of size 30mm x 30mm, top of pipe welded with 3mm MS plate and bottom welded with 5mm thick plate of size 125mm x 125mm including PCC foundation of size 150x150x300 mm with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 incl necessary earthwork excavation in any soil, removal and disposal of spoil complete all as specified and as directed

S & F in repair of solar powered delineator post made of polycarbonate and toughened aluminium alloy body with four supper bright LED flashing,high quality reflective solar panel to absorb maximum sun energy ,battery voltage 1.2v,visibility minimum 120m ,working time 24-48 hrs, dimension of system not less than 145mm x 80mm x 80mm .Fixed on post of size 1.0m long made of 65mm (outer dia) MS pipe 16 gauge painted with stove enamelled black paint provided at site as per manufactuer's instructions embedded in PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 in ground 30 cm x 30cm x 30 cm block including excavation of hole and removing excavated material from site after returning filling and well ramming complete all as directed (Make : Model No DA 112 of Dark Eye or equivalent)

S & F in repair two way reflective cat eye studs not less than 100mm x 100mm x 18.5mm made of ABS plastice body of high compressive strength with electronically welded prismatic retro reflective lens on both sides for maximum retro reflection in wet & dry condition fixed as per manufactures instructions on the road surface including removal of old unserviceable studs complete all as specified and as directed. (Model No DA 978 of Make : Dark Eye or equivalent)

Supply and fix in repairs solar road studs size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm made up of high compresive strength materials of aluminum alloy to sustain over 10 tonnes weight ,100% water proof design according to IP65 ,with minimum 3 super bright LED lens on each opposite sides (2 sides only), with inbuilt solar panel of high effciency mono crystalline not less than 2.4V /0.3 watt with recharge battery not less than 1.2 V /1600 MA and fixing the stem firmly into road surface as per manufacture instruction by hammering /embedding including removal of old unservicable studs complete all as specifeid and directed

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.50 metre in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling watering and ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50m and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m above the starting point all as specified and directed

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar including pillar etc below/ above ground level etc and removing to a distance not exc 50 meter. complete all as specified and as directed

Dismantling of 300 mm nominal dia unserviceable cast iron or RCC drain pipe jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches including removal of all PCC haunching, bedding etc, set in complete and removing to a distance not exc 50 m complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for providing Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6) type D-2, (using 40 mm grade stone aggregate) as in foundation and PCC bed/haunching to hume pipe mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 300 mm dia reinforced concrete pipes (hume pipe) of class NP-3 laid and jointed complete with collars as in hume pipe culvert complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for fly ash /concrete best quality bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar ( 1:6) having compressive strenght not less than 75 Kgf/Sq cm complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:6) on fair face of brick or concrete surface finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete (1:2:4) type B0 using 12.50 mm graded stone aggregate as in bencing/ copping including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying three coats of white wash on walls including preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces complete all as specified and directed

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates shall deemed to include the cost of form work shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
