Renovation of UDL. Club in FACT T/S - Udyogamandal Division

Demolishing stone rubble masonry in cement mortar manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer in-charge.

Disposal of moorum / building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading at locations in FACT CD within a lead up to 1 km for all lifts, complete as per directions of Engineer in-charge.

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Providing and laying 450 mm diameter non-pressure NP2 class (light duty) R.C.C. pipes with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement: 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete.

Earth work in excavation (open excavation) by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10sqm on plan, including getting out and disposal of excavated earth for lead up to 1 km and lift up to 1.5m, as directed by Engineer in-charge for all kinds of soil / gypsum etc.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 1km - All kinds of soil

Supplying good earth suitable for sub grade of road formation, excavated from locations inside FACT-CD premises (with in 3kms), including cost of earth excavation, royalty, charges for conveyance and stacking the same at locations pointed out by Engineer in-charge, including all lifts etc. complete.

Random rubble masonry in Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) with hard stone in foundation and plinth includinglevelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand: 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) for works up to plinth level, at locations pointed out by Engineer in-charge, with all leads and lifts of construction materials.

Filling available earth (excavated or supplied) in layers of 20 cm over open areas and spreading them evenly by manual or mechanical means and watering and preparing the earth for roller compaction. Cost shall include earth handling, levelling and watering charges, but excludes the cost of power roller compaction.

Consolidation of sub grade / earth with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating / filling earth to the required level and gradient, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller with minimum 6 passes over the area being consolidated, including making good the undulations etc. with filling with available earth at site or by dozing to level, and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earth with lead up to 50metres.

Scarifying metalled (water-bound) road surface including disposal of rubbish to a lead up to 50 m and consolidation of the aggregate received from scarifying with power road roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller (8 -12tonne capacity) to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer in-charge, with material conforming to Grade-III (size range 26.5 mm to 0.075 mm) having CBR Value-20.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer in-Charge.

Construction of dry lean cement concrete sub base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per specifications, cement content not to be less than 150 Kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, for all leads & lifts, laid with a mechanical paver, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc. complete as per direction of Engineer in- charge.

Plain cement concrete work in 1:4:8 mix (1 cement : 4 coarse river sand/manufactured sand: 8 40mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones) including all charges for mixing concrete, laying, consolidating, curing, cost for bailing out of water, oil, liquid mud etc. from all sources in excavated pits, trenches ,open areas etc. complete at all levels as per standard specifications and as directed by the Engineer in-charge for foundations / levelling courses etc.

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-25 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying, compacting and curing but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer in-charge.“(Note :- Minimum cement content considered in this item is @ 330 kg/cum. “Excess cement used as per design mix is payable separately) – for all works up to plinth level

Providing form work to cement concrete and RCC works with necessary plywood / steel sheet, steel joists, runners, struts, posts etc with adjustable spans and telescopic posts, wooden planks etc. including removal after completion / curing of concrete, at all levels for foundation footings, bases of columns and walls and for mass concrete with straight sides.

Supplying, fabricating, conveying and fixing reinforcement to RCC works at all levels with high strength deformed bars of Fe500-D grade Thermo Mechanically Treated (TMT) bars conforming to IS 1786 including all charges for uncoiling and straightening rods, cutting rods, bending cold, placing in position and supplying & tying with black annealed tying wire of 16 gauge, etc. complete.

Add for using extra cement in the items of design mix over and above the specified cement content therein

Providing and laying 80mm thick factory-made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M -30 grade made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand, cutting the paver block to required size, finishing and sweeping extra sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer in-charge.

Supplying, cutting in required length and laying in position 32mm UPVC (Sch 40) pipes at locations as directed by Engineer in-charge

Providing and fixing 250gsm non-woven synthetic geo-textile around PVC pipes, by cutting the roll into required sizes and numbers, tying them around the pipe with plastic twines or clips as directed by Engineer in-charge. Cost of Pipe and laying shall be paid extra.

Providing and fixing 25mm thick expansion joint bitumen pad filler boards (SHALITEX or equivalent) between expansion gaps / construction gaps in RCC roads, cutting them to profile and sealing them with hot bituminous sealing compound, as per the direction of Engineer in-charge
