Supply & installation of ESE Air Terminal: .External, wide area, early streamer emission (ESE) type lightning arrestor made of robust 304L stainless steel. It is self sustaining with a NI-MH battery and ETFE solar cells on board and in full compliance of the Protection Radius (79 Mtrs) worked out as per Rolling sphere concept& test Standard stated in NFC 17 102 Appendix C . It is capable of polarizing the tip with a voltage of 35 KV to 45 kV, synchronized with an approaching lightning and triggering a powerful upward streamer into the air, with average time gain of 3-60 microseconds earlier than naturally formed streamers.The lightning arrester must be able to be checked by a hand held remote teletester for its operativeness and must be CPRI tested in India apart from approval from International High voltage Laboratory of ALSTOM. Supply & installation of Support Mast: Support mast of 5 mtr of robust design, made with 40 mm dia. class C MS pipe duly galvanized with minimum 85 micron zinc coating, along with all accessories like clamps, saddles, holding arrangements to fix the mast to the building/structure at highest point
Supply & installation of Down Conductor : 25 x 3 mm GI strip connecting Air terminal to the earth pit including clamps, saddles, and other required accessories (Actual quantity will be as per site condition.)
Supply & installation of Maintenance free Earthpits; The earthing will be maintenance free chemical earthing using copper coated steel rods 16 mm dia , 2.4 mtr long and using ground enhancing, artificial soil treatment chemical compound, TEREC+ & Earthcon , having essential chemical ingredients, such as ‘ionic chemicals, dispersion chemicals, expansion chemicals, diffusion chemicals and hygroscopic chemicals, to provide stable low resistance in the earth terminal to make it maintenance free as per IEEE 80-2000 14.5d clause.
Supply and installation of flash counter Flash counter to count the numbers of lightning strikes arrested by the ESE lightning arrester . Tested at CPRI laboratory.
