CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER LINE WORK FOR THDC ENGINEERING COLLEGE, TEHRI GARHWAL, UTTARAKHAND

Demolishing cement concrete manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in - charge.

Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Excavation of earth depth upto 1.5 mt. Below G.L. for laying of sewer manholes, Gully pits, Chambers, sumps etc. in ordinary soil(earth,sand loam and clay) joints, pits, trimming, dressing, levelling refilling of trenchesincluding cutting of in 20 cm layers,watering and ramming the same including removal of surplus earth or other dismantled material up to a distance of 50 meters from the center of trenches.Excavation in soil mixed with morum,shingle,kankar requaring use of specials T&P.

Depth from 0.0 upto 1.5 m

Depth from 1.5 upto 3.0 m

Depth from 3.0 upto 4.5 m

Provision for baricading in two rows and necessary diversion of paths and where as necesarry with the help of ballies ,ropes,flags,signals and light signals etc.as per requirement including supply of all material T&P etc complete.

Provide & fixing of Open Timbering (covering1/3rd of surface area by planks), in trenches for the following depths below ground level consisting of 40mm thick approved country wood planks for poling board, 125mm × 75mm Indian Salwood walers and 100 mm dia Sal wood ballies for struts at 1.50m interval including removal after laying of sewer(both sides of trenches will be taken as one side for the purpose of payments & measurements i.e. area equals to length x depth of trenches. Dismantled timbering materials will be the property of the contractor.

Depth upto 3 m below G.L

Providing granular bedding with carefully compacted backfill at all level using graded hard crusher broken stone 100% passing through 20mm sieve , 20-50% passing through 10mm sieve and 100% retained on 6mm sieve, laying in layers of not more then 15 cm thick including ramming, watering, compaction etc. complete for pipe bedding and surrounding as per drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Width of bedding ( Outer diameter of pipe + 200mm )
