Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required line, grades cutting and trimming of side slopes , camber, super elevation and level shown as per the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge at site according to the M.O.R.D. technical specification clause 302, 304 and 1603 and sorting out surplus materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to required width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transporation including head load or animals transport or by mechanical means along with its levelling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and incidential necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and / or labour if required. 112.42 cubic metre quantity from stones/useful materials to be recovered from the contractor at the rate 300/- (Rupees three hundred) per cubic metre from the bill on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolutely responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.
