Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means. a) upto 3 m depth i) With pumping out water including shoring as required.

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes.

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip Course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface] (i) With 1:4 cement mortar (a) 15 mm thick plaster

Neat cement punning about 1.5mm thick in wall, dado, window sill, floor etc. NOTE:Cement 0.152 cu.m per100 sqm.

Making filter with well graded 40 mm down ballasts and laying uniformly behind weep holes, below pitching on bed, side slopes including supply and carriage of all materials to site including preparing bed with earthwork up to 30 cm depth, where necessary and compacting with wooden malllet after laying to achieve designed section as per direction of the Engineer- in - Charge (measurements will be on finished work / in stack after deducting necessary void).) (a) Jhama ballast

Providing and laying pre-cast brick block pitching of required size (53 Cm. x 53 Cm, x 25 Cm. or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge ) with 1st class kiln burnt bricks in cement mortar including flush pointing on all faces except exposed face which to be plastered with 19 m.m. thick cement plaster , curing, dressing, ramming & preparing subgrade in slopes & bed complete with necessary earth work not exceeding 300mm in depth with all leads & lifts including cost of all materials/ blocks up to site by all means of transport. The gap between adjacent blocks will not be more than 10 m.m. (Sand, cement mortar mix for making blocks, pointing & plastering is1:4)

Supplying, fitting and fixing at site Cast Iron flap shutter for hume pipe sluice with Cast Iron collar and other fittings etc. complete (as per drawing & direction of Engineer-in-charge)including casting the same, necessary drilling etc with carriage to site complete. The Cost includes cost of Materials, Machinaries , Manpower, Cutting, Aligning, drilling, Welding, Finishing, Consumables, Carriages and all overheads with all leads and lifts complete as per specification (without painting).

Taking out old existing unservicable damaged draw/flap gate shutter of distributories/ branch canal/minor canal/channel completely after disengaging from hoisting system completely for installation of new gate shutter. The work includes cutting of gates into suitable pieces by gas cutting, removing the same by mechanical means or suitable crane, stacking all the pieces at the suitable place or departmental godown or as directed by the Engineer in charge. The cost includes cost of man power employed for dismantling and cost of consumables like oxygen, accetylene gas, hire charges of machineries, like chain pulley block, gas set, tools & tackles, scaffolding and safety equipments etc including carriage loading & unloading with all lead & lift.

Fabrication , Supply, erection and commissioning of new Slide type vertical lift regulator service gates of Canal/River as per IS: 5620 - 2000/Latest Revision consisting of skin plate, vertical and horizantal grider, stiffener etc. made of MS material consisting of angle , channel, beam, plate, flat, etc. conforming to IS : 2062 -2011/latest revision manufactured as per approved drawing and direction including cost of Materials, Machinaries , Manpower, Cutting, Aligning, drilling, Welding, Finishing, Consumables, Carriages and all overheads with all leads and lifts complete as per specification (without painting). i)Width of Gate shuteer size upto 2 metre

Supply, installation, testing and commisioning of following items for hoisting system and gear box as mentioned below as per direction including cost of Materials, Machinaries Manpower, Cutting, Machining, Aligning, Anchoring, Welding, Finishing, Consumables, Carriage and all overheads with all leads and lifts complete as per specification (without painting) i) Bush(GM)

Supplying, fitting & fixing of C.I wheel in the screw hoisting system for lifting or lowering the draw shutter.The wheel consisting of suitable size hub to accomodate any size of G.M/C.I nut, rim dia 32mm and four nos arm made of minor dia 30mm. & major dia 36mm rod complete or as per approved drawing & direction of the Engineer‐in‐charge.The cost includes cost of materials, man power employed for dismantling and fitting fixing, consumables like cutting tools, welding rod, hire charges of machineries, like lathe machine,grinding machine ,tools & tackles etc including carriage loading & unloading. (a) Upto 60 cm. dia. Cast Iron wheel

Taking out screw gear rod including its head stock assembly by cutting nuts and bolts from draw shutter of distributories/branch canal/minor canal/channel for replacement/after feeding the canal and handed over to the section office or as directed by the Engineer in charge. The Cost includes cost of Manpower, Cutting, all overheads with all leads and lifts complete. The cost of carraige will be provided extra as per actual basis based on PWD Schedule of Rates.

Supplying, fitting & fixing of screw rod having square thread of 1.5/2 T.P.I, Material bright steel [EN‐8/EN9/forged Cl‐4 (45C8) as per IS :1875 1992/latest Revision]. dia and thread length as required and providing with a drilled hole of required dia on the other end after flattened and supplying with one no. bolt and nut of required size and all other components as required as per direction of Engineer‐In ‐ Charge. The cost includes cost of material, man power employed, consumables like cutting tools, emery paper, cloths, , hire charges of machineries, tools & tackles, grease, mobil etc including carriage loading & unloading as per direction of Engineer in charge. a) upto length 3.00 metre.

Cost for supplying and fitting fixing of Flat rubber seal (Make Universal Moulders & Engineer/Popular Rubber Works (Pvt) Ltd/SAB Industries/Unique Polymer Works/equivelant approved make conforming to lS : 11855 -2011/Latest Revision) for different types of gate shutter as per direction of E.I.C. The cost includes cost of man power employed for fitting fixing, cost of rubber seal, hire charges of tools & tackles, scaffolding and safety equipments etc including carriage loading & unloading but excluding supply of ms clamp/ flat plate, bolts, nuts and washer. a) 65 mm x 6 mm

Supplying, fitting & fixing of M.S fabricated pedestal stool of suitable size, consisting of bottom plate, top plate, four nos legs etc febricated with suitable sizes m.s plate, m.s angle conforming to I.S 2062 of latest revision and as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer in charge. The cost includes cost of materials, man power employed for dismantling and fitting fixing, civil works consumables like cutting tools, gas, oxygen, welding rod, anchor bolt of required size, hire charges of machineries, like gas cutting set, welding set, tools & tackles etc including carriage loading & unloading.

Supplying, dressing and stacking at site bamboo pins above 5 cm. diameters and upto 7.5 cm. diameters. (Dia to be measured at mid length)

Driving bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scaffolding and driving appliances. (a) Where boats are not necessary.

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bamboo wailing pieces (av. dia. of bamboo not less than 5.0 cm.)

Supplying to site empty cement polythene bags (capacity 50kg) in good condition including stacking, incedental charges etc. all complete (capacity 50 kg).

Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or gates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,(tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials).

Extra rate for item no 21 above for each additional lead of 60 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30 metre. (i) Three lead.

Dumping in position earth / sand filled gunny / poly bags (capacity 50 kg) within a lead of 30 metre inclusive of all lifts.

Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specifications Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD. (I) By Manual Means a) Concrete work -

Taking out old bamboo pins from piling and stacking the same within 150 metre from the site of work. (a) Where boats are not necessary.

Taking out bamboo wailing pieces after removing iron nails and stacking the same within 150 metre from the site of work. (a) Where boats are not necessary.

Removing earth/sand filled poly bags/gunny bags from the channel bed/slope and initially depositing the same near channel bank at a place as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for measurement of Bag. & then disposing off the same at a distance not less than 150 metre from the channel site.

Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.

Extra rate over Item No 28 for all kinds of soil for every additional lift of 1.50 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lift of 1.50 metre. (a) One extra lift

Extra rate over Item No 28 for all kinds of soil for every additional lead of 30 metres or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30 metres. (a) Four extra lead

Earthwork in excavation in the canals / drainage channels / borrow pits / River bed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (a) Ordinary soil / local soil / soil mixed with moorum or kankar / silt, dry or moist / slushy silt / sticky soil.

Stripping off worn out plaster and raking out joints of walls, celings etc. upto any height and in any floor including removing rubbish within a lead of 75m as directed.

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor) (f) 25 mm to 30 mm shuttering without staging in foundation.

Painting of Gates of Distributory/Branch/Minor canal/ Pump Coloum pipe/Pump Discharge Pipe & other similar components on prepared surfaces with one coats of zinc phosphate primer (airless spray preferred) 50 microns/coat and one coal tar epoxy, 150 microns/coat including cost of all materials, labour, scaffolding etc., complete with all leads and all lifts.
