SCHEDULE 'A'

Supply install testing and commissioning Auto Mains Failure Silent type Close coupled Diesel Generating set 250 KVA Emission complaint & Noise complaint CPCB-II developing 310 Bhp, Liquid cooled coupled with 250 KVA (200 Kw) , 3 phase, 415 Volts, 1500 RPM Micro Processor based engine controller with Remote Monitoring facility , Std control Panel with 3 Pole MCCB, 400 A base frame, batteries with leads and other accessoriers with type approved KG Canopy as a complete set. Control Panel should be installed outside of the canopy, including first fill of lube oil and Engine safeties- LLOP, HWT suitable for ambient condition at Trivandrum. The capacity of Generator set shall be net after all due derating factors as per relevant IS/BS Standards design. Note :- (i). The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of oil and final successful acceptance test. (ii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site as specified in PS in presence E/M Offr detailed by accepting officer. The contractor is liable to make arrangement for testing, equipments , diesel etc and cost of all such incidents shall be borne by the contractor . (iii) The complete DG Set shall be procured from authorised OEM of the manufacturer of engine. A certificate in this connection shall be submitted to the GE. (iv) Anything missed out above but technically required for efficient working of DG Set is deemed to be included in quoted rate.

(a) Scope of Supply - Diesel engine shall be 6 Cylinder, Liquid cooled, developing 310 Bhp at 1500 RPM, electric start, compression ignition, designed to run continuously and confirming to the standards ISO 3046 and BS 5514. The engine will have the following standard accessories. Radiator with fan and fan guard Flywheel housing and flywheel suitable for single bearing alternator. Inline fuel pump Dry type air cleaner (Replaceable two element air filtration system) Exhaust Silencer (residential / hospital type) with Expansion bellows - 2 Nos. Lube Oil filter (Spin on type) Fuel filter (Spin on type) and water separator Electronic Governor conforming to class AO with integral fuel system suitable for isochronous operation Lube Oil Cooler Exhaust gas driven turbocharger Charge air cooler (air-to-air type) 24V Electric starting system with starter motor and alternator

(b) Digital Engine Control Panel : ON/OFF START Key Lube Oil pressure indication Water temperature indication Battery charging indication Electronic Hour meter Engine speed Coolant level status Auto start facility - inbuilt Controller for electronic governor Indication and trip facility for low lube oil pressure, high water temperature and over speed Engine inputs suitable for communication with computers for remote monitoring with optional RS485 or RS232 (c) ALTERNATOR 250 kVA, 0.8pf (lag), 200 kW, 415V, 3 phase 4 wire, 50Hz, screen protected drip proof (SPDP) with IP23 protection, class H insulation and temperature rise also limited to class H and single bearing type Alternator conforms to IS:4722/BS: 5000/IEC: 60034.

(d) BASE FRAME Base frame is fabricated in formed sheet metal, primer coated and painted. The base frame is rugged in construction and designed for mounting KOEL engine and KG alternator close coupled, with cross members mounted on AVM . Foundation shall be as per OEM and specification. (e) Acoustic Enclosure Acoustic enclosure shall be powder coated and fabricated out of 16 SWG CRCA MS sheet. The silent canopy shall be of integral, nut bolt type construction. Critical processes of punching is done on CNC machines to maintain dimensional accuracy of holes within 0.1 mm. Powder coating is done after seven-tank surface preparation process of sheet metal. Canopy panel and doors shall have inside lining of world class higher density acoustic FIRE – RETARDANT foam (confirming to BS 4735/ BIS 7888). Four hinged doors with rubber binding and stainless steel door locks shall be provided to canopy. The hot chamber of the canopy is properly insulated by mineral wool and aluminum foil to prevent excess heat radiation on the engine and safe for operator. The base plate & top is powder coated / painted with OXFORD BLUE / PEPSI BLUE, the canopy is powder coated / painted with IVORY colour.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx 3.15 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level, connected to galvanised GI strip of size 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 in SSR Part -I connected to earthing test point all as specified complete with excavation & earth work, PCC pit with 50mm thick RCC cover (grade M-15) having suitable handle (10mm MS Rod) 20mm dia GI medium grade ISI marked watering pipe with GI funnel with wire mesh 32mm bore GI pipe medium grade ISI marked for protection of earth lead conductor all as directed and testing on completion.

M&L for Earth continuity conductor main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground drawn in conduit / pipe , laid through trenches etc as required with 32 x 6 mm GI strip complete all as specified and directed

M&L for GI pipe 80 mm dia light grade laid in trenches at road crossings/ foot paths complete all as specified and directed

Supply, lay, test and commissioing of LT UG cable XLPE multi stranded armoured cable with aluminium conductor for working voltage upto and including 1100 volts grade, in trenches/duct/ on walls/on poles etc incl. necessary Glands of suitable size and Aluminium Lugs for fixing the cables of size 300 Sq mm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed

Supply and laying of LT UG cable multi stranded armoured cable with copper conductor of size 6.0 Sq mm 4core complete all as specified and directed

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in walls or retaining walls any thickness, size or shape including pilasters, buttresses ,columns, pillars,boundary pillars and posts (including caps and bases) complete all as specified and directed

Excavating in post holes, in soft/loose soil, (or similar holes) each n. exc. 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers n. exc. 25cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n. exc. 50m and making good surfaces complete all as specified and directed .

S&F steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I. S.1161- 1979 grade St.-240 , Fe 410-W (Grade E-250) quality A complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for rolled mild steel of grade Fe-410-W(Grade E-250) quality ‘A’ in plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk), forming holes, without any attachment complete all as specified and directed .

S&F rolled mild steel of grade Fe-410-W(Grade E-250) quality ‘A’ as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates complete all as specified and directed . .

S&F for pre-painted galvatume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 MPa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed . .

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for and removing from site all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof covering all as specified and directed.
