SERVICING,REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF VARIOUS CAPACITY OF WATER COOLERS AND ALLIED WORKS AT NAVAL DOCKYARD VISAKHAPATNAM

Material & labour for attending complaints of water coolers/ refrigerators/ deep freezers of any capacity by and checking of loose wiring/loose contacts and replacement of unserviceable spares such as capacitor, thermostat, over load protector, relay, fan motor, fan blade and MCBs etc.,and charging of gas wherever required and keeping the water cooler in trouble free condition complete all as specified and directed. [Note:- (i) Spares such as capacitor, thermostat, over load protector, relay, fan motor, fan blade and MCBs etc., shall be measured and paid under relevant items of schedule 'A' as supply only. (ii) Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for replacement of burnt wires and wiring clips wherever required. (iii) Cost of gas shall be measured and paid separately as supply only]

Material and labour for refrigerant gas charging of the coolers, thoroughly flushing out the refrigeration system, pressure testing with CO2/N2 gas, arresting of leakage, vacuumisation, supply regrigerant gas & charging the system conducting performance test complete all as specified and directed for the following capacities. [Note: (i) Gas charging shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this schedule.]

All as per item No. 2.00 above but Deep freezer / refrigerator of 165 ltrs to 300 ltrs capacity.

Material and labour for servicing the water cooler in position by cleaning the water cooler body, storage tank, fan bushes, blow out the condenser coils with air blower, alignment, greasing and arresting leakages, removing blockages of drain out-let connections, testing trouble free functioning complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for disconnecting all connections of the water coolers/ refrigerators/deep freezers from the existing location, transporting the same to workshop for carryout body repairs/ gas charging/ painting and transporting back the coolers/refrigerators/deep freezers to it’s original location, installing, connecting up, testing and commissioning all as specified and directed. [Note: (i) Body repairs/ painting shall be measured and paid under relevant items of schedule 'A'. (ii) Note : Cost of gas shall be measured and paid separately as supply only]

Material and labour for cutting & removing all corroded/rusted portion of 40/60/150 ltrs capacity water coolers and making good the same with MS sheet and suitable size of MS angle as existing for the following parts including preparation of surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. [Note : - Cost of MS sheet/MS angle iron shall be measured and paid separately as supply only.]

Material and labour for preparing the surfaces smooth by scrapping/ chipping the corroded/rusted portions and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on inner and outer surface of the entire space of various types of water coolers , deep freezers and refrigerators of the following capacity complete all as specified and directed.

40/80 ltrs, 60/120 ltrs

Material and labour for taking out the defective sealed reciprocating / rotary compressors from the following capacities of water coolers and supply & fix new compressors and connecting the refregeration system after flushing out the system, leak testing with CO2, vaccumising and gas charging with refrigerent gas, testing and commissioning all as specified and directed. [Note : Cost of gas shall be measured and paid separately as supply only ] [Make : As per sample]

Taking out the defective/unserviceable suction/ discharge/ charging copper tubes of water cooler and supply & fix new copper tubes of the following sizes including brazing and leak testing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out unserviceable condensers from the following capacity of water coolers and supply & fix new condenser alongwith suitable MS bed all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix stop valve of fancy type chromium plated copper alloy 15mm bore with one GI union and GI nipple on the in-let connection of water cooler complete all as specified and directed. [Make :- Luster/Emerald/Kingston/Bright]

Material and labour for taking out defective push / lift cock of water cooler, supply & fix new chromium plated brass self closing tap all as specified and directed. [Make :- Anchor/Emerald/Kingston]

Material and labour for taking out defective float valve and supply & fix new brass ball valve of 15mm dia complete with polythene float and fly nut screwed for iron pipe of brass ferrule all as specified and directed. [Make :- Viking/Hindon/Bright]

Supply only FLORON 134a gas high cooling capacity, higher compressor life, ozone friendly, as AHRI 700 purity standards. Container Net Weight 450 grams [Make : SRF Ltd].

Material and labour for taking out the corroded in-let and out-let pipe lines of water cooler and supply & fix new GI pipe line of medium grade, 15 mm bore conforming to IS-1239 part I complete with all fittings and specials such as elbows, bends, tees, unions etc, all as specified and directed. Taking out the perished PVC flexible drain pipes from water cooler and supply & fix new PVC flexible drain pipe of size 25mm dia all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing SS water storage tank 80 ltr cap with cooling coil as existing size and taking out old unserviceable one all as specified and direction

Supply and fixing of drain tray made stain less steel as existing sizes and taking out old unserviceable one all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix MS angle iron / MS sheet with same guage of suitable size as per site requirement, flats, cut to required length, making necessary shape, screw holes fixing with necessary electric welding, painting one coat of red oxide and two coats of synthetic enamel paint to all sides of steel members including dismantling and taking down the unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling unserviceable voltage stabiliser for repair including replacement of relays, electronic voltage sensor, circuit and meter, micro switch, indicating light, RC filter, and other connected items for making functional and rewinding of transformer unit with suitable size of super enamelled coper wire, heating, vernishing and testing after repair complete for capacity upto 2 KVA and any make as directed.
