Excavation in Soil using Hydraulic Excavator and Tippers with disposal upto 1000 m Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 Cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3

Gravel/Soil-Aggregate Base (Table 400.2) Grading A Construction of gravel/soil-aggregate base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller to achieve the desired density, complete as perTechnical Specifications Clause 402

WBM Grading 2 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizesto water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness,hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, crushable screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.

WBM Grading 3 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, crushable screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.

Low porosity Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primern at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503

Bituminous MacadamProviding and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site upto a lead of 1000 m laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 504. (Bitumen VG-10 @ 3.3% of the weight of mix has been used for analysis purpose. The choice of bitumen will depend upon the prevailing site conditions and shall be inaccordance with Clause 504 of MORD) Recovery against difference of quantities of Bitumen and Aggregates shall be done according to bitumen content & Density found actually in field after execution/ Job Mix Formula/ Estimated which ever is less. (Estimated density 2.20 Tonne/Cum)

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.20 to 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503

Providing and laying Semi Dense Bituminous Concrete with the use ofbatch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour usingcrushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binderand filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostaticpaver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level andalignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers toachieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No.508 complete in all respects Grading II - 10mm using VG - 30 bitumen (bituminous binder @ 5 % of mix) Recovery against difference of quantities of Bitumen and Aggregates shall be done according to bitumen content & Density found actually in field after execution/ Job Mix Formula/ Estimated which ever is less. (Estimated density 2.29 Tonne/Cum)

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound of ISI Mark Approved Quality of 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.
