Taking down carefully the existing aluminium/copper point wiring (light, fan, socket or power point) of any description, including fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, tube-light fittings, ceiling fans with regulators, sockets, wooden boards, laminated sheets, sunken boxes, boards and shades, and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors and ceilings to match the existing finish, complete, all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for concealed point wiring for one light point controlled by one switch, using 1100 V grade, single-core, FRLS, PVC-insulated and unsheathed, multistranded copper conductor cable of 1.5 sq mm nominal cross-sectional area (ISI marked with valid CML), drawn in and including concealed non-metallic rigid PVC conduit (ISI marked with valid CML) of not less than 20 mm diameter, with all fittings and fixing accessories; continuous earth conductor of 1.5 sq mm FRLS PVC-insulated multistranded copper cable connected to the common earth dolly with suitable lugs; factory-made pressed-steel sunken terminal boxes for switches, regulators and sockets; and 3 mm thick white phenolic laminated sheet covers fixed with brass screws and cup washers. Metal boxes shall be painted externally with two coats of anti-corrosive/black bituminous paint and internally with two coats of aluminium paint. Complete, all as specified and directed. All as per Item 2, but point wiring with 2.5 sq mm FRLS multistranded copper conductor cable for one 6-pin 15 A socket outlet controlled by one switch on an independent board, and 1.5 sq mm FRLS PVC-insulated multistranded copper conductor cable as continuous earth wire, complete, all as specified and directed. Material and labour for surface point wiring for one light point controlled by one switch, using 1.5 sq mm nominal-area FRLS PVC-insulated and unsheathed multistranded copper conductor, drawn in and including medium-duty PVC conduit of not less than 20 mm diameter with all fittings and accessories; factory-made mild-steel/pressed-steel terminal boxes with zinc coating and metal flush boxes as required for switches, sockets and fan regulators; and continuous earth wire of 1.5 sq mm FRLS PVC-insulated copper conductor connected to the common earth dolly, complete, all as specified and directed.
