Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches in all kinds of soil including moorum, stony earth and earth mixed with boulders (except sheet rocks and boulders requiring for blasting) including dressing and leveling the bed up to the required depth and depositing the excavated materials at places away from the work site with all leads and lifts, T&P shoring and shuttering and dewatering if required etc. comp. as directed by EIC.

Excavation of founation in laterite rock or any hard rock (other than granite or disintigrated rock) removed by chiselling including dressing and levelling the bed not exceeding 1.5m in depth and depositing the excavated materials at places away from the work site with all leads and lifts, T&P etc. comp. as directed by EIC.

Filling foundation and plinth with river sand, well watered, rammed including cost, conveyance, royalties of materials, cost of all labour and T&P required for the work etc. complete as per direction of EIC.

P.C.C .of prop.(1:4:8) in foundation using 40 mm. size broken hard granite metal of approved quality from approved quarry including lowering, laying concrete to required levels laid in layers not exceeding 150mm thick including cost, conveyance, royalties of all materials, watering and curing and cost of all labour, T&P required for the work etc. compleete as per direction of EIC.

R.C.C M-20 grade concrete with 20mm & down graded hard crusher broken granite chips including hoisting and laying concrete, watering and curing for three weeks centering and shuttering and finishing the exposed surfaces smooth, providing beads or grooves where necessary including cost, conveyance, royalty of all material, dismantling the centering, shuttering work after the period as specified by the EIC and cost of all labour, T&P required for the work comp. in all respect, excluding cost of reinforcement, binding wires and labour charges for bending, binding and tying the grills. in footing

Loosening, leveling and compacting original gravel supporting emabankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150mm mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in table-300.2 for embankment consruction etc complete as per direction of EIC.
