Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 mtr deep in loose/soft soil and getting out for underground cable/erection of poles, stays etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Description all as per Item Ser No 1 here in before but exceeding 1.5 mtr deep but not exc 3.0mtr deep.

M & L for sand cushioning for cable with river washed sand and punning to provide required cover as per SSR part I complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and laying bricks common burnt clay sub class 'B' old size for cable protection.

Description all as per Item Ser No 4 here in before but except bricks. Note: Old bricks retrieved from item No 21 here in after shall be used.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded aggregate, mechanically crushed stone for mass filling in pole pit and foundation etc including provision of necessary form work to achieve fair finished surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in pole foundation, coping, stay pits etc including provision of necessary form work to aachieve fair finishes surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick layers complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of excavated material n.exc 50 mtr away and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above from starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling and taking down old unserviceable PCC pole any type after disconnecting all electrical connection incl clearance of site complete all as the direction of Engr-in-Charge.

Supply , erection of PCC pole 9.0 mtr long in true vertical position 102x172 mm at top 102x279 mm at bottom class-10 incl providing black and white strips with synthetic enamel point 30 cm each alternate upto 1.5 mtr above the coping of pole starting with black strip complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Earth work and PCC shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Description as per direction of Engr-in-Charge will be printed on each pole without any extra cost.

Supply and erection of steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts,nuts and screws as specified type 410 SP 31 , 9 meter long incl providing synthetic enamel aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide and black and white strips with synthetic enamel paint 30 cm each alternatively upto 1.5 mtr above the coping of pole starting with black strip complete all as directed at site.

Supply and fix indoor/outdoor end termination joint heat shrinkable 1100 Volts for XLPE cable of size 3.5/4.0 x 10-50 Sqmm complete all as directed by Engr-in charge.

Supply and fix indoor/outdoor end termination joint heat shrinkable 1100 Volts for XLPE cable of size 3.5 x 70-150 Sqmm complete all as directed by Engr-in charge.

Supply and fix indoor/outdoor end termination joint heat shrinkable 1100 Volts for XLPE cable of size 3.5 x 185-300 Sqmm complete all as directed by Engr-in charge.

Note- Excavation/earth work & sand cushioning , bricks and joint shall be measured & paid for separately.

Disconnecting & taking out defective underground cable any size and any type from trenches, pole, pipe, floor, wall etc

Supply and laying, connecting and testing XLPE underground cable insulated, and overall sheathed with aluminium conductor heavy duty 1100 volts grade 16 sqmm 4.0 core laid in trenches/ on poles/ road crossing or passing through existing/new pipe under road crossing, clamping on wall etc. Note: (i) Earth work, sand, bricks , removing, returning filling Aluminium thimbles/lugs will be paid separately. (ii) Cost of laying electrical cable through new/existing pipe under road, buildings, railway tracks, highways are incl in the quoted rates. (iii) All equipments , machinery or tools if required for laying electrical cable through new/existing pipes are provided by the contractor without any extra cost.

Material & Labour surface cleaning of steel tubular poles LT 9 mtrs long including removing rusted particles and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel aluminium paint including cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, eye hooks, security light bracket, clamp etc and providing black & white strips alternatively 30cm each from coping upto 1.5 mtr height starting with black strip using synthetic enamel paints incl repairing and painting on coping with cement base white paint complete all as directed. Note: (i) The quoted rate shall includes marking of numbers on each LT pole as per direction of Engr-in-Charge. (ii) The quoted rates shall including the repairing of coping with cement / PCC.

Material & Labour cement based paint for PCC pole 9 mtr long including black & white strips alternatively 30cm each from coping upto 1.5 mtr height starting with black strip using synthetic enamel paint including cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, eye hooks, security light bracket, clamp etc incl repairing and painting on coping with cement base white paint complete all as directed. Note: (i) The quoted rate shall includes marking of numbers on each LT pole as per direction of Engr-in-Charge. (ii) The quoted rates shall including the repairing of coping with cement / PCC.

Supply and fixing in replacement guarding wire Cradles, hexagonal/rectangular, fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15 or 4mm dia under overhead ACSR conductor to provide protection against conductor broken complete all as per direction of Engr-in-Charge. Note: (i) Cost of cross arms , nut , bolts, clamps, real insulators etc are measured and paid separately.

Supply and fixing of Reel Insulators for fixing GI wire with cradles, cross arms , bracings, hooks with binding wire complete all as specified and directed as per Engr- In-Charge.

Material & labour repairing existing earthing any type incl making & cleaning of earth pit, repair of pits, fixing of new funel , pit cover, painting on pit with cement base white paint complete all as per direction of Engr-in-charge. Isolating the device and through checking of the LT ACBs 630-1000 Amps capacity and testing its operation and tripping devices and mechanical system and setting it right clearing / servicing complete unit and recharging complete in position for Air Circuit Breaker. ( Note; Provision of new spare parts as required shall be measured and paid separately.)
