M & L for providing pre-cast cement concrete landing, cover slabs, chullah hoods, chajjas, shelves and similar items with plain faces in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50 m wide and not exc. 1.50 m in depth for foundation etc. or for manholes, cesspits, shafts etc. not exc. 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick in each layer as in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles bedded and pointed in cement mortar as in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for laying bricks flat, using fly-ash old size bricks having designation 75 conforming to IS-12894 (2002), bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 as in flooring including necessary surface dressing if required in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 51.00 hereinbefore but EXCEPT BRICKS complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - OLD BRICKS OBTAINED FROM DISMANTLING OF BRICK FLOOR SHALL BE USED UNDER THIS ITEM.

M & L for laying bricks on edge, using fly-ash old size bricks having designation 75 conforming to IS-12894 (2002), bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 as in flooring including necessary surface dressing if required in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 53.00 hereinbefore but EXCEPT BRICKS complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - OLD BRICKS OBTAINED FROM DISMANTLING OF BRICK FLOOR SHALL BE USED UNDER THIS ITEM.

Racking out joints / pointing to brick work in walls or to brick on edges in floor, surface channel, roof etc. built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for flush pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to bricks laid flat or brick tiles as in paving complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in any position and any description including cutting of reinforcement bars to facilitate demolition complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of wrought iron or mild steel work any description and fixed in any position complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of rolled mild steel framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering doors etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fitting, plain steel sheeting and also fastening complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings etc. with ends of bars shouldered and / or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railing, frame work of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Grade E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for welding as in repair of steel doors length exc. 2.50 cm but not exc. 5.00 cm and thickness of metal to be welded not exc. 6.00 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out carefully existing motor operated hanger door shutter (Approximate size of each shutter 7.50 X 8.50 m), alongwith steel structure, top rollers, bottom wheels, bottom rails and CGI sheet covering, disconnecting all electrical parts i.e. motor, cable and the like with help of Hydra or any other suitable mechanical tools and manpower as per site requirement and placing the same on levelled ground carefully for repairing of damaged sections complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - T&P as required for taking down the door for repair shall be arranged by the contractor at his own and cost of the same deemed included in unit rate of this item. Replacement of defective steel members, CGI sheets and other connected items shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of this schedule.

S & F as in replacement rolled mild steel framed work conforming to Fe-410-W (Grade E-250) quality A, as in main horizontal, vertical sections, bracing plate at bottom for wheel fixing, framed structure, other connecting plates and the like after making these members perfactly straight and alingned suitable for hanger doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other door covering etc., to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging, also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of mild steel, tie bars with screwed ends, nuts, washers and mild steel plates for walls, chimney, roof, arches etc king rods and straining boards confirming to Fe-290 Grade E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floor and paving, in any thickness with and including taking out embedded steel rails and other associated members of hanger gate (Below or above ground level) by the help of diamond cutter and breaking mechanical tools complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus demolished material (PCC) to distance exc. 1.50 Kilometres but not exc. 5.00 Kilometres and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of rolled mild steel joist, channel, drilling holes for anchor bolts, fixed independently without connecting plates etc. (cut to ordinary length i.e. within 20 mm of length) confirming to Fe-290 (Grade E-165) using quality 'A' ISMC-150 duly fixed with 12 mm dia and 450 mm long 'J' bolts as sleeper to align it on floor for support the rails of hanger door, wheel on it after making them perfectly straight, levelled, alligned and checked with laser rays complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - Fixing nut-bolts shall also be measured and paid under this item.

S & F of standards rails (30 lbs) or equivalent section including provision of stoppers at specified locations to restrict further movement of doors, fixed on sleeper of ISMC-150 @ distance of 750 mm (Chanelled sleeper shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule), to support the hanger door wheels on it after making them perfectly straight duly checked with laser rays duly fixed with 12 mm and 450 mm long 'J' bolts on sleeper to align it on floor complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - Fixing nut-bolts shall also be measured and paid under this item.

S & F as in repairs set of two roller wheel assembly (bottom wheels, one roller wheel should be fitted with sprocket for motorisation arrangement and another without sprocket to each leaf including necessary nut-bolts, connecting plates etc. for movement on bottom rail with each effective force 100 Kgf at 1.60 metres height from the floor. The bottom wheel shall be of adequate strength to sustain the load of door leaf, made of high tensile steel, mechined with high precession, double flanged (18 mm flange) fitted with heat resistent maintenance free self lubricating sealed bearings. The wheel diameter shall not be less than 300 mm and the shaft diameter should not be less than 40 mm guide channels and two wheels assembly for bottom support suitable to enable movement of each shutter by application of 100 Kgf at 1.60 metres height from the floor, Bottom wheel shall be designed to take all the load of door leaf in motion, High wing pressure and to protect the door leaf from derailing the rail complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - Make and Quality of all parts shall be approved by Garrison Engineer before incorporating the same in work.

S & F as in repairs set of two roller assmebly (one at each support) for top support of each door leaf to move in guide channels at top guide. The top wheel shall be made of high tensile steel, machined with high precission fitted with heat resistent maintenance free self lubricating sealed bearings. The wheel diameter shall not be less than 150 mm and the shaft dia should not be less than 40 mm. Top wheel shall be designed to take all load in motion, high wing pressure and to protect the door leaf from derailing, falling of guide complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - Make and Quality of all parts shall be approved by Garrison Engineer before incorporating the same in work.

M & L for providing cement concrete 1:1.5:3 type A-1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in pavements, hard standing and the like finished even and fair without using extra cement, in any thickness as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge with and including necessary form work for lateral support complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for forming construction joint 30 mm deep X 10 mm wide filled with grade ‘A’ sealing compound complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness including Nainital or similar pattern roof covering, wall cladding, hanger doors and the like complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only 0.63 mm thick galvanized corrugated iron (CGI) sheeting with two corrugation side lap using any grade, fixed with and including provision of ‘L’ or ‘J’ type hooks or cranked hook / bolts and washers as in covering of hanger door and the like complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - Old sheets obtained from dismantling shall be used under this item.

S & F of 0.63 mm thick galvanized corrugated iron (CGI) sheeting with two corrugation side lap using grade ‘O’ sheets having zinc coating @ 120 gram per sqm inclusive of both sides, fixed with ‘L’ or ‘J’ type hooks or cranked hook / bolts and washers as in covering of hanger door and the like complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of 0.80 mm thick plain galvanised mild steel (PGI) sheets using grade ‘O’ sheets having zinc coating @ 120 gram per sqm inclusive of both sides, as in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip, straight flashing and the like, fixed in any pattern by welding or soldering the joints to make it leakproof complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing of Hanger door shutter in the same opening (Approximate size of each shutter 7.50 X 8.50 m), with and including straightening of displaced or distorted steel members and fixing the same by welding in the correct position / true to line alignment as reqired, replacement of worn out nut-bolts, repair of welded joints wherever required alongwith re-installation of complete motorised arrangement, connecting chains, cables etc. with help of Hydra or other suitable mechanical tools, provision of scaffolding for smooth functioning of door in all respect upto the user's satisfaction complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - Replacement of all mild steel structural members, PGI and CGI sheet covering shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of this schedule. T&P as required for re-fixing of hanger door shutter and connected members shall be arranged by the contractor at his own and cost of the same deemed included in unit rate of this item. No extra claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained.

M & L for preparation of new steel surfaces exc. 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of red oxide primer, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint as throughout base coat of olive green colour and finally applying two additional coats of synthetic enamel paint as in patches of different colours for making camouflage pattern as directed at site as per existing pattern upto a height of 12.00 metre from finished floor level complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces exc. 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint as throughout base coat of olive green colour and finally applying two additional coats of synthetic enamel paint as in patches of different colours for making camouflage pattern as directed at site as per existing pattern upto a height of 12.00 metre from finished floor level complete all as specified and directed.

NOTE FOR ITEM NO. 62.00 TO 79.00: - Work shall be executed through any approved workshop, which is well experience for execution of such work, with prior approval of Garrison Engineer. Execution of Special Repair to Hanger Doors work shall be carried out in the presence of specialised Engineer only, who have good experience for execution of hanger doors work. Contractor shall also be liable for 02 years guarantee of Special Repair and all replaced parts of hanger doors, under which maintenance work has been carried out in these items. Contractor shall also submit a written guarantee in above aspect on completion of contract. If any defect occured during defect liability period, the same shall be make good by the contractor well in time without any extra cost to Govt. The work shall be executed with due care and all necessary safety measures shall be taken during execution of work. Site comes under techincal area so that it is advised to consider the work availability of site because site will be handed over in peacemeal. Work shall be executed upto a height of 12.00 metres at site.
