Excavation for road way in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including cutting and pushing yhe earth to site of embankment saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and other intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the technical specification clause 302.3.5 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus un-useful material to acquired width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animals transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and/or labour if required. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts. A recovery of useful stone for 267.73 cum ( Two hundred sixty seven decimal Seven three) cubic metre @ Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected on pro-rata basis in each running bill from this item. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for foundation of bridge structures (Abutments) in all depths as per drawing and MORTH specification clause 304 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibited). All type of classifications of soil by manual / mechinical means comprising of ordinary rock, soft rock, / Hard rock as per drawing and technical specfication and as per direction of Engineer -In - Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidential. Hauling and stacking of useful materials for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner triming filling of unevenness blindage and finishing of the brigde site to specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. Providing and laying Mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete 1:5:10 (one cement : five sand: ten graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimeter) nominal size) in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST , Labour cess, or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying Mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete M-10 crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimeter) nominal size) in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing walls, return walls with 100mm (One hundred millimeter) diameter PVC Pipe extending through the full width of structures with slope of 1(one )(Vertical) : 20 (Twenty) (Horizontal) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specifications clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including entire carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling behind abutment , wing walls and return walls complete as per drawings and technical specification Clause 1204.3.8. with Granular Material and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge and MORTH spection 2100. Providing and laying Plain / reinforced cement concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete RCC M-20 (Twenty)grade design mix using graded/ crushed stone aggregate as specfied in the design mix in substructure complete as per drawing and MORTH technical specifications clause 1500,1700 & 2200 including the cost of form work, curing complete in dirt wall and bed block of abutment/pier and including entire carriage of material in all leads, lifts and heights as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and laying Plain / reinforced cement concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete RCC M-30 (Thirty)grade design mix using graded/ crushed stone aggregate minimum cement contents not less than 406.67 ( Four hundred six point six seven) Killogramme per Cubic metre as specfied in the design mix in substructure complete as per drawing and MORTH technical specifications clause 1500,1700 & 2200 including the cost of form work, curing complete in dirt wall and bed block of abutment/pier and including entire carriage of material in all leads, lifts and heights as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement made of TATA TISCO. SAIL, in substructure of bridge complete as per drawings and MORD technical specifications clause 1600 & 2200 including the cost of bending, binding, cutting and placing in postion of bars complete and including the cost of winding wire including entire carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and laying of filter media with granular material/ stones crushed agreegate satfifying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2 of MORTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 600mm(six hundred millimeter) with smaller size towards the soils and bigger size towards the wall and providing over the entire surface behind abutment wing wall return walls, to the full height compacted to firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification Rural Road . including entire carriage of material in all leads, liftsand heights as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Supplying, fitting and fixing in position true to line and level POT-PTFE bearing consisting of a metal piston supported by a disc or unreinforced elastomer confined within a metal cylinder, sealing rings, dust seals, PTFE surface sliding against stainless steel mating surface, complete assembly to be of cast steel/fabricated structural steel, metal and elastomer elements to be as per IRC: 83 part-I & II respectively and other parts conforming to BS: 5400, section 9.1 & 9.2 and clause 2006 of MoRTH Specifications complete as per drawing and approved Technical Specifications including entire carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and laying of a strip seal expansion joint catering to maximum horizontal movement upto 70 (Seventy) millimetres , complete as per approved drawings and standard specifications to be installed by the manufacturer / supplier or their authorised representative ensuring compliance to the manufacturer's instructions for installation and MORTH Specfication 2607 including the cost of form work and curing complete including entire carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber(earth work for the cutting involved for sub grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP.PWD. Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc.with earth or quarry soil etc. and rerolling the sub-grade completed as per HP.PWD. Construction of granular sub base by providing well graded materials grading -1 mixed ina mechnical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site upto lead of 1000(Hundred) Metres spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired denisty, complete as per technical specification Clause 401 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M30 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm (Twenty milimetre) mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 (one hundred twenty five milimetres) micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, dowel bars, near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, using curing compound ( where specified ) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical specification clause 1501including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
