82702/E8 SPECIAL REPAIRS TO ROADS AND ALLIED WORKS AT VARIOUS CAMPS OF HQ SAC (U).

Repair to pot holes any depth not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc including cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat using cold bitumen emulsion @ at 5 kg per 10 sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30mm and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparing existing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using viscosity grade paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5kg / Xsqm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 6% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with paving bitumen (VG-30 grade) and penetration using mechanical paver complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- In the event of excess quantity of binder content is necessitated due to mix design of asphaltic concrete, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost and no price adjustment shall be applicable in this regard.

Supplying, laying & spreading upto 75 mm thick or less (consolidated thickness) premix bituminous macadam filling in depression grading 2 (using 19.2 mm graded stone aggregate) in single layer with using mechanical paver using paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 3.4 % by weight of total mix with job mix formula, laid / rolled and compacted / consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The job mix formula shall be approved by CWE. (ii) 3.40% binder content has been specified for quoting purpose of bid. If the quantity of the bitumen exceeds the 3.4% as mentioned above, no plus price adjustment shall be made. If the quantity of bitumen required as per job mix formula works out less than 3.40%, the recovery of the supply only bitumen shall be effected @ Rs. 40/- per Kg. The cost of transportation of material and testing charges shall be borne by the contractor. (iii) Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work

M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements and the like minimum 2mm thick with thermoplastic road marking paint white and including preparation of old surface to receive the painting with adequate number of coats complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair cats eye retro reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs solar reflective cats eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Monocrystalline solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc and as directed.

S&F in repair metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair convex mirror minimum 800 mm in dia outdoor type, body metal - polycarbonate and acrylic and mirror thickness not less than 3mm for traffic purpose mounted on 2 mtr long and 50 mm dia SS pipe Gde 30 G, fixed with nut and bolts and clamp system including necessary excavation and embedded in cement concrete type B-1,1: 2 : 4(using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) , complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

Supply and installation in repairs of solar road stud made of poly carbonate ABS moulded body and shanks and PC top 3 Nos super bright LEDs on each side, also has diamond grade reflectors on each side for improved visibility, size of stud is 113 x 70mm with 15mm above the ground when installed. Weight = 780 +/- 20 gms, 1 No 1.2V rechargeable battery, 2.5V, 0.25-0.30W solar panel, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
