OUTSOURCING SERVICES FOR OPERATION AND MAINT OF LIFTS IN RESIDENTIAL AREA AT PHASE-I, DRDO COMPLEX, AND TECH AREAS AT LRDE, NEW CAIR, MTRDC UNDER GE (I) RndD (WEST) BENGALURU

Providing services for operation of passenger lifts at DRDO Phase - I, residential area Bldg Nos E-25 to E-29 (G+5, Six landing); single shift from 0830 Hours to 1700 hours on all days including Sundays and holidays. Man power required is One lift operator per lift per shift complete all as specified and as directed. (No of lifts to be operated is 5) NOTES :- (i) The unit rate quoted by the tenderer shall deemed to include the cost towards provision of reliever. (ii) The scope of work also includes cleaning of working areas, equipment's, lift room / Machine room of building. iii) Tenderer shall arrange insurance to his work-men and relevant proofs of the same shall be submitted to the department as and when demanded, the cost for same shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted. Responsibility of compliance of labour regulations, EPF, ESIC, Bonus, GST, Cess and other levies payable and other related Acts in force lies with the tenderer and strictly adhered to by the contractor. The Contractor shall produce proof of wages, EPF, ESIC, Bonus, GST, Cess paid against the respective workmen while claiming payments.

Notes to Sl Item No 1 (Contd.,) iv) Provisions of statutory laws relating to minimum wages, EPF, EDLI, ESIC, Bonus, GST, Cess & other levies payable shall be strictly adhered to by the contractor. Attention is also drawn to minimum fair wages payable as notified (time to time) by Govt Of India / State Govt / Local body whichever is higher, including all taxes as applicable and quote their rates. Contractor shall not have any claim on account of misunderstanding / under quoting in this regards. The Contractor shall produce proof of wages, EPF, ESIC, Bonus paid against the respective workmen while claiming payments. v) Contractor’s attention is invited to Labour Wages Act with regards to payment of wages to the individuals engaged under this work. Contractor shall make the payments to their staff / employees by Cheque or through NEFT in their Bank Account, and the particulars of same shall be submitted to the department while claiming any payment. No payments will be made, unless proof of payment of wages through bank account is submitted by the Contractor/firm while claiming bills. (vi) Absent from duty of technician is not permissible as E&M services are essential in nature. In case of non-manning/non-operation of lifts, recovery will be made at double the proportional rate quoted by the Contractor. Decision of Accepting Officer will be final, conclusive and binding in this regards.

All as per item No 2 here-in-before, but for, 844 Kg, 13 Passengers capacity goods lift of 0.5mtr/Sec speed Make OTIS G + 2, Three landing in CAIR building at High Ground - 01 No and LRDE Admin Bldg - 02 Nos all as specified and as directed (3 Lifts).

(b) Inspection of lifts shall be got carried out from Chief Electrical Inspectorate of KARNATAKA once in contract period and test report shall be submitted as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Testing charges shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate of respective items of BOQ. Supply, installation, testing and commissioning, Elevator door sensors curtain type, single phase 240 volts with convertor unit dimensions of 10 mm dia, 2004 mm height and 26 mm wide with minimum recommended opening of 0 mm and maximum recommended opening of 3000 mm, maximum response time 65 ms, scan time 45 ms, all as per model K 20 of TL jones or techno commercially equivalent model of other makes including taking down unserviceable drives all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of Rubberized floor carpet of thickness 8 mm including taking down unserviceable / damaged carpet all as specified and as directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning V3F drive, 3 phase, 415 volts of capacity 15 HP, 20 KW, heavy duty, overload capacity 150% for 1 min, current limit 150%, carrier frequency 2 kHz and maximum output frequency 300 Hz all as per model CIMR -F74 of Yaskawa or techno commercially equivalent of other make including taking down unserviceable drives all as specified and as directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning V3F door drive, 3 phase, 415 volts of capacity 1.5 HP, 2 KW heavy duty ,overload capacity 150% for 1 min, current limit 150%, carrier frequency 2 kHz, maximum output frequency 300 Hz all as per model CIMR - F74 of Yaskawa or techno commercially equivalent of other approved makes, including taking down unserviceable drives all as specified and as directed.

Rewinding of electric motor of Lift, 3 phase, 415 Volts, AC, of any make of Motor 2 HP To 3 HP capacity, after opening up, removing the burn out winding / other parts and rewinding with super enameled copper wire of same gauge and number of turns and applying insulating varnish including overhauling / servicing , greasing and replacement of unserviceable bearings and miscellaneous parts and reassemble the parts, re-fixing to the position, testing for its satisfactory working , etc., complete all as specified and as directed

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m deep and not exceeding 1.5 m wide and getting out in hard / dense soil all as directed.

Returning and filling in, soils, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick all as directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point all as directed.

Material and labour for laying of burnt bricks sub class `B’ bricks of size 230 x 115 x 75 mm, laid in trenches for cable protection all as directed and specified

Material and labour for Sand cushioning using dry river sand for cable cushioning all as directed and specified. Note : For the purpose of payment punned thickness will be measured.

Taking down existing unserviceable protection pipe, providing material and labour, for laying of 40 mm dia GI, light grade, pipe as cable protection in trenches, road crossings, floor, poles including necessary clamps made out of mild steel flat iron of size 25 mm x 5 mm bolts, nuts, washers, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down existing 1100 Volts grade cable and Supply and laying new XLPE insulated cable, screened, bedded galvanized steel strip/wire armoured heavy duty with aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 50 Sq mm 3.5 core with cable protection works (as applicable) laid in trenches/ ducts/ fixed on pole/ wall/ laid under road / path/ culvert/ drains/ encased in pipe, including necessary lugs, jointing and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- Necessary excavation, earthwork and cable protection works will be measured and paid separately under respective items.
