Excavation in foundations and trenches (for pipes and pits in all depths etc) in pick work,jumper work the excavated earth within all leads and lifts clear from the edge of excavation and then returing the stacked soil in 15cm layers when required into sides of foundation and trenches etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed by Engineer-in-charge with in all leads and lifts including uprooting of trees,dressing of beds and sides and preparation of sub grade,restoration of unmetalled/metalled/paved surfaces to its original conditions including soring,strutting, and timbering where ever required providing diversions for traffic,fixing night signals, fixing caution boards,crossing over trenches for access to houses complete and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in charge.

1st Phase-MSERW pipe 350 mm dia. With wall thickness of 4.80 mm with O.D. 168.30 mm having 41.526 kg/mtr. in Ist stage RD 0/0 tO RD 600 i/e/ stacking properly as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying,jointing and testing GMS pipes jointed with 5% joint flanged and remaining butt weld joint of below dia mtr i/c the cost of bends) complete as per IS:1239-1990(Part-I), as per dimensions,weights and test pressures mentioned below .

Providing and welding M.S. flanges ( with GMS pipe (Medium class)150 mm dia), at suitable point , to be provided 5% of total joint and remaining 95% joints with butt welded joint, with MS flanges table -5 conforming to as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with upto date ammendments) with plain end GMS pipe in requisite number of layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof( The cost of provoding and laying of GMS pipe to be measured and paid for seperately). The welding of flanges should conform to IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364, i/c cost of gasket sheet nuts & bolts. The thickness of gasket sheet not less then 3.00 mm conforming to IS:2712-1998. The work shall be done with all leads and lifts per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing cicumferencial butt welded joints by electrical arc welding to GMS pipe 150 mm dia ( M ) welded in requisite number of weld runs so as to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS:816-1969 specifications by using welding electrodes conforming to IS:814-1991 at site of work complete in all respects including mannual/mechnical handeling of pipes in all lead & lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing double flanged cast steel reflux valves following class of Leader/Kirloskar make and 150 mm dia class pn -1.00(CI)for R/main and capable of with standing normal seat pressure of 21 kg/cm2 conforming to BS:1868/API-600 with or latest up to date ammendments.
