OD316583/2025-2026:SCOPE OF WORK 1.1 The scope includes the supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of one (1) set of Vertical Turbine Pump coupled with a suitable motor, including all electrical, mechanical, and safety accessories. 1.2 All works shall strictly adhere to IE Rules, KWA Standards, and instructions from departmental officers. 2.0 PUMP & MOTOR SPECIFICATIONS 2.1 Type: Vertical Turbine Pump set of approved Indian make. 2.2 Impeller: High-quality Bronze impeller with the minimum required stages for optimal efficiency. 2.3 Duty Parameters: Discharge: 28 LPS Total Head: 75 Meters Suction Depth: 10 Meters Column Pipe: 200 mm (8-inch) MS/GI heavy-duty flanged pipes. 2.4 Warranty: Minimum two (2) years comprehensive warranty from the date of commissioning. 3.0 MOTOR STARTER & CONTROL SYSTEM 3.1 Soft Starter: KWA-approved 40 HP Soft Starter (Make: Danfoss / ABB / Schneider etc) with a built-in bypass contactor. 3.2 Protections: The starter must include: Overload & Dry Run Protection Low Voltage Release & Single Phase Preventer Phase Unbalance & Phase Reversal Protection. 3.3 Testing: The assembly must be pre-wired and tested for industrial-grade reliability. 4.0 ELECTRICAL PANEL BOARD 4.1 Construction: Dust-proof, cubicle-type panel fabricated from 2 mm thick CRCA sheet, finished with powder coating. 4.2 Components (KWA Standard): Incomer: 100 Amp TPN MCCB with thermal-magnetic trip. Protection: 63 Amp Switch Fuse Unit (SFU) with HRC fuses. Power Factor: Heavy-duty APP Capacitor of required KVAR. Metering: Digital/Analog Voltmeter and Ammeter with selector switches. Indication: LED-type RYB phase indicators. 4.3 All components must bear ISI marks and be factory-tested. 5.0 CABLES & EARTHING 5.1 Cabling: Supply and laying of ISI-marked 3-core copper flexible/armoured cable of suitable rating as per IE rules. 5.2 Earthing: Double earthing for the motor and starter panel as per IS:3043 and IE regulations to ensure maximum safety. 6.0 VALVES, FITTINGS & SAFETY 6.1 Valves: 200 mm PN 1.6 D/F Non-Return Valve (NRV) and 200 mm PN 1.6 D/F Sluice Valve (ISI marked). 6.2 Instruments: Industrial-grade oil-filled Pressure Gauge (0-15 kg/cm²). 6.3 Safety: 11kV grade insulated rubber mats (to be placed in front of the panel) and necessary "Danger" caution boards. 7.0 TESTING, COMMISSIONING & COMPLIANCE 7.1 Trial Run: Performance testing (efficiency, head, and discharge) shall be conducted after installation. 7.2 Inspection: Commissioning must be done in the presence of KWA departmental officers. 7.3 Compliance: All materials and execution must conform to relevant IS standards and KWA technical specifications. 8.
