M & L for cleaning the surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with compressor air blower (50 to 90 PS) to remove all loose dust, dirt etc/taking out dust/existing material with compressed air and making the surface free from dust, drying the surface and applying unifirmly two coats of cold Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) by using self-propelled emulsion distribution uniformly or towed emulsion pressure sprayer, equipped for spraying the PME uniformly & mopping of total undiluted PME @ minimum 1.00 litre per sqm undiluted in two coats in the ration 1:1 (PME : Water) and ensure uniform finish complete all as per manufactures instruction and all as specified and as directed. Note:- The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting his rate for the item:- (i) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of polymer modified emulsion (PME) than that mentioned above is used depending upon condition of the surface to be treated. (ii) Minus price adjustment as pro-rate of quoted rate for min 1.0 litre/Sqm in two coats shall be made, if less quantity of PME as per manufacturer's instructions and subsequently approved by GE is used in the work. (iii) The work shall be carried out through authorised & registered applicator of the manufacturer. (iv) A performance guarantee certificate for two year shall be submitted by the contractor to the completion of the works as specified on stamp paper. (v) PME must have penetration value of 10 to 20mm and initial setting time four to five hours but not more than eight hours. (vi) Special care shall be taken to fill gaps/cracks with 6 to 2.36mm size coarse sand as per manufacturer's instructions and quoted rate is included for repair of gaps/cracks. (vii) Cost of trial patch 15mx15m deemed to be included in rates quoted for above item. (viii) Purchage vouchers of material shall be entered in MB and justification details shall be attached with RARs and final bill for minus price adjustment.

M & L for repairs to cracks of any type of width & depth in flexible surfaces by cleaning of the cracks with compressed air blower 50 to 90 PSI, coir, wire brushes to remove all loose dirt, dust or any foreign materials etc and applying Tar Plastic cold applied bituminous caulking compound injecting the crack fill complete all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting his rate for the item:- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorised & qualified applicator of the manufacturer. (ii) A performance guarantee certificate for two year shall be submitted by the Contractor to GE on completion of the work the of the works as specified. (iii) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of masking tape to protect pavement surface from accidental spillage of tar plastic and removal & disposal of the same afterwards. (iv) Purchage vouchers of material shall be entered in MB and justification details shall be attached with RARs and final bill for minus price adjustment.
