OUTSOURCING SERVICES FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF RADAR OPEN TEST PLATFORM, ATTENDING COMPLAINTS OF RTP AND SUBSTATIONS AT LRDE TECH AREA UNDER GE(I) RndD (WEST) BANGALORE

Providing services including operation of RADAR Test Platform with associated electric equipments viz., Winch house, locking pin cabin, mono rail hoist, lifts, DG Set, RTP Bldg, RTP garden area, required to meet functional requirement for efficient, smooth and trouble operation during currency of contract period in general shift (0830 Hours to 1730 Hours including one hour lunch break) comprising of following trained manpower (details of plant for which services to be provided and operated are given as per Appendix ‘A’) excluding Sundays complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES :- (i) Equipment/Machinery for which services are to be maintained are for RADAR Test Platform and connected Bldgs and as indicated in tender documents. (ii) The work also includes cleaning of working areas, equipments, sub stations building, RADAR Test Platform operations, register duly signed by Engineer-in-Charge & Contractor, maintenance of surrounded areas of RTP and its ancillary Bldgs as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The Contractor is advised to visit the site before quoting their rates. Nothing extra will be payable on account of any misunderstanding in Scope of Work and working areas. The site will be handed over as is what is basis after acceptance of contract as per Work Order. (iii) Reliever/ Standby when required shall be employed by Contractor without any extra cost to Govt. (iv) Also refer to Schedule 'A' Notes & Particular Specifications for other jobs to be carried out by the personnel employed by the Contractor. v) Manning of HT sub station consists of hourly monitoring, recording of readings prompt restoration of feeders at times of tripping and ensuring minimum down time.

Notes Contd., vi) The Contractor is responsible to ensure that all man power employed during shift hours. shall restrict their movement to RTP and connected ancillary Bldgs. Also, the contractor shall ensure that all personnel employed shall carry their lunch along with them, before entry from LRDE Main Gate and shall have their lunch in RTP duty room only; and no personnel will be allowed to leave LRDE premises during the working / shift hours. vii) Absent from duty of technician is not permissible as E&M services are essential in nature. However, the absence will invite penalty as described in Sch 'A' notes and recovery shall be done through recovery statement from the payment due. The tenderer will have no claim whatsoever on this account and decision of Accepting officer in this regard will be final and binding. (viii) Tenderer shall arrange insurance to his work-men and relevant proofs of the same shall be submitted to the department as and when demanded, the cost for the same is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. Responsibility of compliance of labour regulations in force lies with the tenderer. Attention is also invited to Labour Wages Act with regards to payment of wages to the individuals engaged under this work. Contractor shall make the payments to their staff / employees by Cheque or through NEFT in their Bank Account, and the particulars of same shall be submitted to the department while claiming any payment. No payments will be made, unless proof of payment of wages through bank account is submitted by the Contractor/firm while claiming bills. (ix) Provisions of statutory laws relating to minimum wages, EPF, EDLI, ESIC, Bonus, GST, CESS & other levies payable shall be strictly adhered to by the contractor. Attention is also drawn to minimum fair wages payable as notified (time to time) by Govt Of India / State Govt / Local body whichever is higher, including all taxes as applicable and quote their rates. Contractor shall not have any claim on account of misunderstanding / under quoting in this regards. The Contractor shall produce proof of wages, EPF, ESIC, Bonus paid against the respective workmen while claiming payments.

All as per Serial Item No 1.00 here-in-above, but for manning additional hours beyond the period covered under Sl Item No 1 above i.e. after 17.30 hrs / Sundays if required and specifically ordered by Engineer-in-Charge/GE.

Providing services for attending all types of day to day complaints connected with internal electrification of Bldgs, external electrification pertaining to HT / LT cables, switch gears, transformers,, LT Panels, feeder pillar boxes, street lights, checking of power DBs including tightening of connections, changing of burnt-out terminals, MCBs, connectors etc., checking of earthing of the LT distribution system, attending day-to-day complaints including checking and replacement of burnt-out and unserviceable items like wiring, connected fittings and fixtures, MCB DBs, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, replacement of tube rods of any wattage, choke, starters, point wiring, sub-main wiring, switch socket combination of any capacity, switches, fan regulators, capacitors, replacement of fuses, CFL bulbs, lamp holders etc., complete all as specified, in day time by deploying certified / skilled workers in single shift from 0830 Hours to 1730 Hours (with one hour lunch break) and in fuse off call office, on all days excluding Sundays, complete all as specified and directed. NOTES - i) Providing man power services for attending all types of day to day complaints, in single shift on all days excluding Sundays (from 0830 Hours to 1730 Hours) with Electrician (Skilled) - 2 No and Helper - 2 No per shift. All the above tasks shall be performed by skilled Electricians possessing the requisite qualifications. Contractor has to produce such certificate issued by the Government authorities to the Garrison Engineer for approval before commencement of work. ii) The Contractor is responsible to ensure that all man power employed during shift hours. shall restrict their movement to locations of complaints.
