REPAIR/RESURFACING TO INTERNAL ROADS AND REPLACEMENT OF ROAD FURNITURE, ROAD MARKING PAINT AT AGE CHARDUAR UNDER GE (N) TEZPUR

M&L for scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 Sqm and depth exc 50mm and n. exc 100mm and removing unserviceable matreilas from site of work and stacking serviceable materials for reuse at site up to 50m distance complet all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) Water Bound Macadam (WBM) with coarse aggragate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), using granite, trap or basalt stone, spread, rolled with smooth wheeled power roller 8 to 12 tonne and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No 02 above but except material Note: Material retrived from item No. 1.00 to be reused after screening.

M & L for preparing WBM top surfaces by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.85-1 kg/sqm on surface of WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed .

M & L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam 75mm or less consolidated thickness by using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with binder content @ 4% weight of total mix laying with mechanical pavewr rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using 8 to 10 tonne capacity poweer roller complete all as specified and directed Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through National Test House, SEMT wing CME, Regional Research Labs, IITs, National Institutes of Technology, Govt Engineering College or any Govt laboratories and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum. (ii) If actual design mix comes less than 4% binder content, then the rate of recovery of bitumen shall be as per rate in purchase vouchers per kg for the purpose of adjustment. However, no adjustment shall be made if the binder content is required more than 4%.

M & L for preparing exisiting black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 2.5 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MaRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanica sprayer after cleaning of existing surface as specified and directed.

M&L for Providing & laying design mixed, semi dense bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen of VG-10 or VG-30, rolled & consolidated to required gradient & camber with power road roller exc 8 tonne & n.exc 12 tonne complete in all respect as specified & directed. Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through National Test House, SEMT wing CME, Regional Research Labs, IITs, National Institutes of Technology, Govt Engineering College or any Govt laboratories and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum.
