Appendix A Reactive Maintenance(Initial Rectification work

55.4:Supplying and stacking 36mm size hard broken stone in standard heaps for measurement.

55.8.a:Filling up pot holes (cut and formed to regular shapes and all loose and defective materials removed) after supplying a prime coat of hot bitumen using 36mm departmental broken stone and compacting with power roller to get a compact surface.

55.7.a:Providing bitumen leveling coarse between 40mm and 150mm with 36mm deptl metal by spreading the metal to line and levels and rolling until the compacted coarse aggregate has a firm surface and applying hot bitumen with pressure sprayer at the rate of 20 Kg per M3 metal including all cost of bitumen conveyance heating mixing spreading in appropriate locations to proper levels compacting with power roler and other sundry stores.

55.2:Supplying and stacking 12mm hard blue granite broken stone in standard heaps for measurement(IRC 3.2.1.a)

55.9.a:Filling up pot holes (cut and formed to regular shapes and all loose and defective materials removed) after supplying a prime coat of hot bitumen using 12mm departmental broken stone and compacting with power roller to get a compact surface.

5.2.a:Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion( RS) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 - 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

OD109190/2025-2026:Providing laying and rolling of MSS/close graded premix surfacing material of 20 mm thickness composed of 11.2 mm to 0.09 mm (Type A) aggregates using viscosity grade bitumen (VG 30) to the required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel static roller of 80- 100 KN capacity and finishing to required level and grade By manual means

3.13.1.A:Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom, backfilling the excavation earth to the extent required and utilising the remaining earth locally for road work. Ordinary soil - Manual Means - (Depth upto 3 M)

12.4:Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 nominal mix in foundation with crushed stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days.

OD109194/2025-2026:Filling up potholes with bituminous ready-mix compound (25 kg bag) and compacting by ramming to get a compact surface including cost of material, laying charges, transportation to site etc complete. ( rate is arrived for a bag of 25 kg)

OD109193/2025-2026: Engaging Hydraulic Excavator of 1 cum bucket for various works as directed by the Officer in charge.

OD109191/2025-2026:Engaging mazdoor for lowering side berms, clearing side berms, clearing side drains, removing silt from culverts, cutting earthen drains, diverting blocked water, ,removing the branches of trees leaned towards the road threatening pedestrians and traffic and removal of fallen trees or branches on the road clearing traffic blockage , stack the wood at suitable place and various works as directed by engineer in charge etc

Appendix –C Proactive/Preventive maintenance

OD109188/2025-2026:Conducting and reporting routine inspections for the entire length of the project road at a frequency of 7 days throughout the agreement period of the running contract as directed by the departmental officer at site. Additional Routine Inspection may be required in response to reports or complaints from the police , other authorities and the public as a result of major incidents, typhoon or flooding damages etc. and not measurable/payable. A promotion on the RI should be carried out either during or immediately following a period of wet weather.

Appendix –D Emergency Works

8.45:Provision of metal drum/empty bitumen drum delineator, 300 mm in diameter, 800 mm high, filled with earth for stability, painted in circumferential strips of alternate black and white 100 mm wide fitted with reflectors 3 Nos of 7.5 cm dia, all as per IRC:SP:55-2001

10.12:Clearance of land slides in soil and ordinary rock by a bull-dozer D 80 A-12, 180 HP and disposal of the same on the valley side
