Surface cleaning of metal surfaces by chemical cleaners and then by hand with emary paper, wire brush and power tool cleaners and removing dust and preparation of surface including cost of all materials, labour, machinery, scaffolding, etc., complete with initial lead for sand upto 1 km and all lifts.

Painting of Gates of Distributory/Branch/Minor canal/ Pump Coloum pipe/Pump Discharge Pipe & other similar components prepared surfaces with one coats of zinc phosphate primer (airless spray preferred) 50microns/coat and one coat coaltar epoxy, 150 microns/coat including cost of all materials, labour, scaffolding etc., complete with all leads and all lifts.

Dismentling of screw hoisting system consisting of gear/ screw rod, padestal stool, top plate, bottom plate, G.M/C.I bush, operating wheel etc for repairing/replacement of gates and staking suitable place or as per direction of E.I.C. The cost includes cost of man power employed for dismantling, hire charges of tools & tackles, scaffolding and safety equipments etc including carriage loading & unloading.

Oiling greasing of headstock assembly of regulator gates of canal/river by cleaning, checking, greasing, screw rod, G.M nut, Thrust bearing, guide channel, etc including all charges of man & materials which include refilling of gear oil, oiling, greasing and fixing of missing nut & bolts etc to complete the job as per direction of EIC.

Earthwork in re-excavation / silt clearance in drainage channel in all kindsof soil including sludge, slush mixed with all sorts of industrial wastes andmunicipal garbages, polypacks, carcasses, small khatal effluents, nightsoil etc. by mathor labour as may be necessary and depositing the samein places as directed by the Engineer-in-charge , in such a manner,without causing much hindrance to traffic and posing health hazard and making arrangement to maintain the site in workable condition and roughdressing when dry including making arrangement of bailing out of anyseepage water and removal of sand or soil blown from underneath,removal of khatal, temporary latrines, clearing and removing all kinds ofsemi compact masses formed by water hyacinth, jungles up to 30 cmgirth, and burning them to ashes or removing outside Government land in conformity with the Municipal rules, including shoring shuttering asrequired, nicking out lines etc. (Measurement : Pre-work and Post-work level section. Pre- work sectionto be taken after removal of water hyacinth and all other floating materials etc.) (a) By manual means within an initial lead of 30 M and an initial lift of 1.50 M

Bailing out water by pump including all leads and lifts and includingmaking all arrangements for disposal, where continuous flow orseepage of water is encountered and rating of pumps and hours ofoperation is specifically ascertained as per direction of theEngineer-in-charge.

Double knotted wove wire 1.2 m. height (11 bars), vertical 300 mm. apart,horizontal spacing starting from 88 mm. ending 200 mm. top and bottom wire 10g and all other intermediate and upright wire 9g. with finished border 2 ply twisted fencing including tightening and fixing the same to posts with staples at every bar including cost of cutting and of lapping joints in the net as necessary including cost of staples and wove wire.
