Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and inequalities not exceeding 15cm deep and disposal of rubbish, with in a lead of 50m at locations pointed out by Engineer in-charge in all kinds of soil.

Disposal of moorum / building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading in areas with in a lead of 30km in FACT CD premises in for all lifts, complete as per directions of EiC.

Earth work in excavation in open areas (exceeding 1.5m in width as well as 10sqm on plan) by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in all kinds of soil, for lifts up to 1.5m from existing ground level, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal with in a lead of 50m as directed by the Engineer in-charge.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches in all kinds of soil, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil up to a lead of 50m, as directed by the Engineer in-charge . The rates shall include bailing out water, and keeping the sides from collapsing using necessary timbering, planking, and shoring.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, for lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m.

Charges for conveying the surplus earth to places approximately 30 kms away and dumping at low lying places in FACT CD as directed by the Engineer in-charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete work in 1:4:8 mix (1 cement: 4 coarse river sand/manufactured sand: 8 40mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones) including all charges for mixing concrete, laying, consolidating, curing, cost for bailing out of water, oil, liquid mud etc. from all sources in excavated pits, trenches, etc. complete at all levels as per standard specifications but excluding the cost of shuttering, and as directed by the Engineer in-charge for foundation / levelling course etc.

Providing hard core layer of required thickness using 40mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones after compacting the underlying soil, spreading and levelling the stones and then spreading a layer of 6mm downgraded crushed aggregates on top of the broken metal layer and it shall be watered in order to force the crushed fine aggregates into the void spaces of the broken stone and repeat the process till all the voids are filled with crushed fine aggregates right up to the edges of hard core layer, including cost of all materials and labour charges etc, complete.

Supplying and stacking good earth brought from outside, at locations pointed out by the engineer in-charge.

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, at all levels: 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III): 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-30 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer in-charge. (Note: - Cement content considered in this item is @ 340 kg/cum. Excess cement used as per design mix is payable separately) – for all works below plinth level

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for: Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers

Providing form work to cement concrete and RCC works with necessary plywood / steel sheet, steel joists, runners, struts, posts etc with adjustable spans and telescopic posts, wooden planks etc. including removal after completion /curing at all levels for walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses etc.

Providing form work to cement concrete and RCC works with necessary plywood / steel sheet, steel joists, runners, struts, posts etc with adjustable spans and telescopic posts, wooden planks etc. including removal after completion /curing at all levels for Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts. Rate to include for shuttering at all heights.

Reinforced cement concrete work of M25 grade for precast cover slab using Portland pozzolana cement containing more than 25% of fly ash, river sand / manufactured sand conforming to IS 383 and 20mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones including all charges for designing the mix, weigh batching, including installation of batching plant at the designated location in the site premises or arranging RMC, mixing concrete, cost of adding concrete admixtures as required, transporting, formwork, laying, vibrating, consolidating, curing with minimal use of potable water subject to provision of IS 456, handling, transporting, loading, unloading, keeping and fixing in position, at all levels etc., complete but excluding cost of providing reinforcements. (Exposed surfaces of pre-cast elements shall have good finish with no blemish or mark on the finished surfaces) NOTE- (1) Minimum Cement content shall be @ 330 kg/cum. Excess/ less cement used as per design mix is payable/ recoverable separately. (2) Fly ash conforming to grade I of IS 3812 (Part-1) only be used as part replacement of OPC as per IS: 456. Uniform blending with cement to be ensured in accordance with clauses 5.2 and 5.2.1 of IS:456 - in the items of BMC and RMC -for cover slabs (75mm to 100mm thick) on drain.

Supplying and fixing pultruded GRP gratings made of Isophthalic polyester resin containing glass fibre content not less than 60% and having fire retardant characteristics, of 38mm height with I bar spacing not exceeding 40mm c/c and crossbars not exceeding 90 mm c/c, suitable for imposed load of 500kg/sqm of colour grey and designed for a max support span of 1300mm over cable trenches / drains / stairs with bonded grit antiskid surface including fixing to the existing structural steel frames / RCC walls by means of SS hold down clamps, locking arrangement etc. For step ladders, gratings have to be fabricated as per site measurement and shall be rigidly fixed to the existing structural by suitable locking arrangement. 2 Piece locking system of size 700 wide (I-bar) x 1mtr (Cross Rod) Length. Acid proof lining after cleaning the cement finished surface well with water and allowing to dry, brushing and removing all dust, apply two coats of approved quality bitumen based primer conforming to IS. 1580 as per manufacture's specification, applying 12 mm thick asphalt membrane with hot melt asphalt free from filler conforming to IS. 1580, then laying acid resistant tiles of class II quality conforming to IS. 4860 over a bed of 6 mm thick potassium based silicate cement mortar conforming to IS. 4832 - part. I & 4441 and joints 5 mm thick, raking the joints to full depth from the top surface, removing the raked-out mortar and filling the entire depth of joints with Furan base resin cement mortar conforming to IS. 4832 - part. II including acid washing curing etc. complete as per relevant IS. 4443 specifications at all heights. - 230X112X38 mm or nearest size tile

Supplying, conveying fabrication and erection of MS single section members such as channels, guard rail, MS angle hand rails verticals, etc. with fixtures such as end stops, clamps, bolts and nuts etc. including charges for cutting, splicing, drilling holes as required, fixing to lines and levels and cleaning thoroughly with power tools and painting as per specifications given in specific requirements of work.

Supply, fabrication and erection of structural steel work in built up trusses bolted or welded at all levels with MS angles, channels, tees, flats, RSJs, rods, pipes, hollow rectangular sections and plates for roof trusses, purlins, cladding, gratings, runners etc. including cutting, welding, hoisting, erecting in position with necessary MS bolts including preparation of surface bygrit/shot blasting at all heights including hire of plants and equipments, labour and costs of grits, shots. After grit/shot blasting the surface shall exhibit almost clean white metal and shall have surface finish of Sa 2 ½ asper IS 9954. (Mill scale, rust & foreign matter shall be removed to the extent that only traces remaining are slight stains in the form of spots or strip)The rate shall include erecting necessary scaffolding works wherever requiredand covering working area during blast cleaning with tarpaulin of goodquality to prevent spreading of dust, paint to the nearby operating areas and painting as per specifications given in specific requirements of work.

Supplying of pultruded GRP heavy duty hand railing-side mounted design made of vinylester resin containing glass fibre content not less than 60% and having fire retardant characteristics meeting ASTM E-84 Flame Spread ≤25 & Smoke Spread Index ≤ 100 (type test required) for a height of 1 mtr with 50 mm square GRP pultruded pipe post at 1.50 mtr spacing with pre drilled holes, with 67mm Curved U shape top rail, mid rail and kick Plate of 80mm wide Half Round shape with extended Flange design of colour yellow. GRP materials type tested as per ASTM G-154 for UV resistance meeting 1000 accelerated weathering test with tensile and flexural strength not reducing more than 5% after exposure. The Handrail must be able to withstand 70 Kg concentrated load at mid span without any failure or crack.

Providing high impact Polypropylene reinforced cement 6 mm thick corrugated sheets (as per IS: 14871) roofing up to any pitch and fixing with polymer coated J, or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. G.I. plain and bitumen washers or with self drilling fastener and EPDM washers etc. complete (excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses), including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required.

Radiographic Inspection (20%)of the weld joints shall be conducted as per the code, specs. Drawings & instruction of the Engineer-in-charge. However the extent of inspection (%) shall be as per attached document REF:25ES205. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all operations necessary to fulfill the work of radiography (x-ray / gamma ray) ultrasonic, DP/MP tests including all tools / tackles, films, chemicals etc. complete. After testing, if any joint is found defective, the same shall be rectified and re-tested free of cost.

DP / MP TEST (10%) of the weld joints shall be conducted as per the code, specs. Drawings & instruction of the Engineer-in-charge. However the extent of inspection (%) shall be as per attached document REF:25ES205. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all operations necessary to fulfill the work of radiography (x-ray / gamma ray) ultrasonic, DP/MP tests including all tools / tackles, films, chemicals etc. complete. After testing, if any joint is found defective, the same shall be rectified and re-tested free of cost.

FABRICATION AND ERECTION OF STRUCTURAL SUPPORTS - Supply of material, transportation, cutting, edge preparation drilling, threading, welding and fixing of structurals supports at all elevations and chipping and grouting as required and clamping /bottling/fixing of pipeline (including the cost of sand, cement, MS plates & Structurals)

MODIFICATION OF SA DRAIN VESSEL, TRANSPORTATION & ERECTION Modification works of SA drain vessel. ie., Addition of nozzles and saddles as per drawing & tender specifications.
