Removal of existing 4.5mm synthetic sports vinyl flooring, including careful lifting and storage of material for potential reuse or as directed by the engineer in Charge.

Providing and applying of Self-levelling of existing area where 4.5mm synthetic sports vinyl flooring has been removed, including surface preparation and removal of irregularities to correct undulations and ensure floor level matching with adjacent non-play areas. all complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge - Approved Make: LEVEL 0 Brand or Equivalent

Providing and applying of Anti-termite treatment to the junction of wood work and masonry walls with chemical emulsion by admixing chlorpyriphos emulsifiable concentrates (1% concentration) with water by weight including spraying at the points of contact with the adjoining masonry by drilling 6m. Dia holes at a downward angle of about 45 degree at the junction of woodwork and masonry and squirting chemical emulsion into these holes at the rate of half litre per hole. The entire work is to be carried out as per specification of Code I.S.-6313 (Part-III)-1981. The shutters are to be sprayed with emulsion. on both sides. All wooden fixtures like almirahs, racks etc. are also to be thoroughly sprayed with chemical emulsion. (Payment will be made on the basis of outside measurements of doors and windows) (Mode of measurement : treated floor area to be measured) all complete as per the Direction of Engineer in Charge.

Supply, installation & finishing of Air-Cushing Asian Brand/Apex/Sundek or equivalent Maple wooden sports flooring system as per the approval of Engineer-in-charge consisting of :- Surface Board: Made of kiln seasoned treated IMPORTED Canadian A Grade MAPLE WOOD finished with 21 mm thick, 55 to 90 mm width and in random length in tongue and groove shape. The edges of the boards will have a finger lock grove and the bottom side with air pass groove and treated with special anti-termite and water resistant lacquer.

Under Frame: Made of PINE WOOD runners of 70 mm X 45 mm treated with anti-termite solution and fixed on the bottom side with 20mm thick Air-cushion pads by staple through the two wings at 350 mm c/c.

Installation: The sub-floor to be treated with Acrostic and a vapor barrier of 1- 2 ml.(100 - 200 micron) thick to be placed on the levelled sub-floor before lying the under frame. The runners having air-cushion pads to be placed on the vapor barrier in perfect level at 300 mm c/c in one direction. The surface boards will be screwed to the runners through the tongue only and will lock the screwed tongue by the groove of the adjoining boards. The ends of the boards will be locked by inserting the wooden fingers through the edge grooves and fixed with suitable adhesive. An expansion gap of 10 mm will be left open between the wooden flooring and the surrounding tiled area/walls.

Finishing: After installation the floor will be machine sanded in uniform level and finished with BONA P.U. Polishing water based polyurethane lacquer. This lacquer finish shall be uniform & even shade by applying number of coats as desired till the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The Game line marking to be carried out in required colours before applying the finish coat.

Warrantee:- 5 years warranty for the materials and installation/application of the work to be executed for the Badminton Court.

Reinstallation of existing 4.5mm synthetic sports vinyl flooring, including necessary shade matching, edge welding, and fixing using approved adhesive where required, all as per the instructions of the engineer-in-charge.
