APPENDIX - A - CONSTRUCTION OF PUMP HOUSE AND SIDE PROTECTION WORKS 2.31 : Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared as per direction of departmental officers at site.

2.6.1 : Earth work in excavation for all kinds of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means for foundation work over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed.as per direction of departmental officers at site.

4.1.8 : Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 nominal size) for foundation work and flooring base layer of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level as per direction of departmental officers at site.

11.3.1 : Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement for flooring in pumphouse, including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete.40 mm thick with 20 mm nominal size stone aggregate as per direction of department officers at site.

60.7.1 : DRY RUBBLE MASONRY _ Dry rubble without concrete levelling course masonry with good quality blasted rubble for providing under steps to river, under plinth beam, for footpath etc including packing to compactness to lines and levels cost and conveyance of all materials labour charges etc. complete as per direction of Departmental officers at site

4.1.3 : Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering -for matslab, base slab and sidewall of leading channel and suction pit, foot path, steps to river ,motor foundation,ramp beam ramp foundation etc All work up to plinth level: as per direction of departmental officers at site.

5.1.2 : Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete 1:1:5:3 (1 cement 1.5 coarse sand :3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement -for column upto plinth, plinth beam, mat beam etc All work up to plinth level: as per direction of departmental officers at site.

4.2.3 : Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)for waist slab,landing and steps inside pump house,sunshade, columns for ramp, ramp slab etc. excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing:as per direction of departmental officers at site.

5.2.2 : Reinforced cement concrete work 1:1.5:3( 1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) in columns, roof beams, roof slab, lintels,landing beam etc. up tot floor five level excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement :as per direction of departmental officers at site.

4.1.6 : Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:3:6 ( 1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - for protection wall superstructure, transformer platform etc All work up to plinth level:as per direction of departmental officers at site.

60.5.1 : DOWEL BARS - Supplying and providing MS dowel bars of size 20 mm dia , 1.5m long (1m in rock and 0.5 m in concrete ) including drilling holes of 25mm dia and filling the gap with cement grout ( 0.25kg/each) etc complete under protection wall as per direction of departmental officers at site.

10.6.3 : Supplying and fixing rolling shutters of approved make, made of required size M.S. laths, interlocked together through their entire length and jointed together at the end by end locks, mounted on specially designed pipe shaft with brackets, side guides and arrangements for inside and outside locking with push and pull operation complete, including the cost of providing and fixing necessary 27.5 cm long wire springs manufactured from high tensile steel wire of adequate strength conforming to IS: 4454 - part 1 and M.S. top cover of required thickness for rolling shutters.80x0.90 mm M.S. laths with 0.90 mm thick to cover in 1st floor of pump house as per direction of departmental officers at site.

10.13.1 : Providing and fixing T-iron frames for doors, windows and ventilators of mild steel Tee- sections, joints mitred and welded, including fixing of necessary butt hinges and screws and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer.Fixing with 15x3 mm lugs 10 cm long embedded in cement concrete block 15x10x10 cm of C.C. 1:3:6 ( 1 Cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) as per direction of departmental officers at site.

10.5.1 : Providing and fixing 1 mm thick M.S. sheet door with frame of 40x40x6 mm angle iron and 3 mm M.S. gusset plates at the junctions and corners, all necessary fittings complete, including applying a priming coat of approved steel primer.Using M.S. angels 40x40x6 mm for diagonal braces for doors and windows as per direction of departmental officers at site.

50.13.1 : 9 mm cement plastering of mix : 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand ) including all cost of materials, labour charges etc complete for bottom of slabs beam , sunshade, stair bottom, step side steps, leading channel walls, ramp, river side protection wall top etc,as per direction of departmental officers at site.

13.7.2 : 12 mm cement plaster finished with a floating coat of neat cement of mix:1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand) for walls , floor finishing, outside of plinth etc as per direction of departmental officers at site.

13.61.1 : Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade:Two or more coats on new work for doors and windows as per direction of departmental officers at site.

13.46.1 : Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade:New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm) for pump house as per direction of departmental officers at site.

60.6 : PVC WEEP HOLES- Providing weep holes using 75mm dia. PVC pipes working pressure 4kg /sq.cm including cost of materials, conveyance, labour charges etc. complete. For retaining wall as per direction of departmental officers at site.

10.26.3 : Providing and fixing hand rail of 40mm size G.I pipe by welding etc. to staircase railing, ramp railing, etc including applying priming coat of approved steel primer as per direction of departmental officers at site.

10.1 : Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete. For ladder and handrail as per direction of departmental officers at site.

13.48.3 : Finishing with Deluxe Multi surface paint system for interiors and exteriors using primer as per manufacturers specifications:Painting Steel work with Deluxe Multi Surface Paint to give an even shade. Two or more coat applied @ 0.90 ltr/10 sqm over an under coat of primer applied @ 0.80 ltr/10 sqm of approved brand and manufacture for ladder and handrail as per direction of departmental officers at site.

10.2 : Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in motor platform , steel beam 30x15,3tonne capacity and lifting arrangement etc including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete. as per direction of departmental officers at site.
