LOCATION: SURYALANKA SOIL INVESTIGATION FOR THE WORK OF OTM ACCN FOR LLTR UNIT AT 401 AF STATION SURYALANKA
(a) Setting up site organisation including mobilisation & demobilisation of all equipment (rotary drilling rig machines including accessories) and personnel etc for commencement of work as required/directed by Engr-in-Charge. (b) Shifting of machine from one borehole to another borehole (15 Nos of Shift) (c) Boring 150mm dia bore holes upto 25 mtr depth through any type of soil/rock strata(16 bore holes) (d) Collection of undistributed soil sample at every alternate 1.50mtr intervals ( total 128 Nos each ) or at any change of strata in 150mm bore thin walled tube including waxing sealing, packing and transportation to the lab. (e) Carrying out standard penetration test (SPT) including collecting of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every alternate 1.5m intervals ( total 128 Nos each ) of any change of strata and submit the report with all requisite data. (f) Carrying out various laboratory tests of UDS/SPT/DS samples at alternate depths (which ever applicable)(16 bore holes) (i) Sieve analysis (ii) Atterberg's limit (iii) F.M.C (iv) Wet and Dry density (v) Specific Gravity (vi) Soil particle size distribution including sieve/Hydrometer analysis (vii) Tri-axial shear test for cohesion & angle of shearing resistance (viii) F.S.I Test & swelling pressure if expansive soil is encountered(ix) Shrinkage limit (x) Consolidation test (xi) Compresive strength of rock samples (xii) Permeability test (xiii) Chemical analysis of ground water sample(min 2 sample) (xiv) Chemical analysis of soil (xv) Degree of saturation of soil (xvi) Depth of water table below GL (xvii) Identification and classification of soil
(g) Preparation and submission of final report (4 copy) giving complete and comprehensive record of investigations, laboratory test reports and calculations of SBC in approved format. (j) If weak soil with lesser N value as specified in table-1 of IS 1893 (Part-1) 2016 is encountered then evaluation of liquefaction potential shall be assessed and remedial actions to be adopted at site shall be specified in the report. (k) For open foundation , calculation of Net SBC at 1.5 m,2.0m, 2.5m, 3.0m from shear as well as settlement criteria. SBC value shall be calculated based on C-Phi analysis as well as SPT value. For calculations formulae given in IS : 6403 shall be used in the report. (l) If pile foundations are required then depth of piles shall be mentioned and pile capacity in compression, uplift & lateral loads shall be given for 300,400,450,500 dia for under reamed piles & for 450,500,550,600 mm dia for long piles as per IS code in the report. (o) Recommendations regarding type of foundation to be adopted & Net SBC pile capacities to be adopted at site shall be mentioned in report. (p) Bore hole position duly marked on plan and their distance from adjacent prominent reference points shall be provided in the report.
LOCATION: NELLORE SOIL INVESTIGATION FOR THE WORK OF PERIMETER WALL AND ALLIED SECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE
(a) Setting up site organisation including mobilisation & demobilisation of all equipment (rotary drilling rig machines including accessories) and personnel etc for commencement of work as required/directed by Engr-in-Charge. (b) Shifting of machine from one borehole to another borehole(08 nos of shift) (c) Boring 150mm dia bore holes upto 25 mtr depth through any type of soil / rock strata (1 bore holes) and Boring 150mm dia bore holes upto 15 mtr depth through any type of soil /rock strata (8 bore holes) (d) Collection of undistributed soil sample at every alternate 1.50mtr intervals ( total 48 nos each) or at any change of strata in 150mm bore thin walled tube including waxing sealing, packing and transportation to the lab. (e) Carrying out standard penetration test (SPT) including collecting of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every alternate 1.5m intervals (total 48 Nos each) of any change of strata and submit the report with all requisite data.
