Labour for taking out old soling edging including removing debris (a) Single flat soling

Labour for taking out brick-on-edge of herring bone bond including removing debris to flank or berm sorting out serviceable materials and stacking.

Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary.

Supplying, spreading and compacting Sand to required thickness, in layers not exceeding 150 mm to proper gradient and camber, inundating each layer by water and packing and ramming layer by layer to achieve desired compaction, including lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary, curing with water as per direction, mending cracks and depressions by ramming wherever necessary.

Labour for laying soiling with departmental bricks including carriage of departmental bricks within a lead of 150 metres preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with brick joints properly filled in and packed with local sand or pondered earth and including necessary cushion of similar materials below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used)

d) Soling or dry pavement with one brick-on-edge laid in herring bone pattern on a layer of brick flat (thickness 75 mm. plus 125 mm)

Supplying & Labour for laying brick edging (75 mm wide) with departmental brick laid true to line and level including carriage of departmental bricks within a lead of 150 metres cutting necessary trench in soil or in hard metalled surface laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both sides of the edging) with spoils and ramming the same thoroughly.a) Brick-on-end edging [ With New bricks ]

Providing & laying Brick flat soling (75min +125 mm. th.) with picked cushioning over bed and filling up all joints with sand including the cost & carriage of all materials and ramming and watering ,if necessary complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and laying polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD. (Mode of measurement: pre works and post works) (a) Carriage up to total lead of 1.0 km.

PROTECTIVE WORKS E.C. Bullah walling with earth bullah walling made of 100mm dia mm dia bullah @375 mm c/c driven about 3.75 m below G.L. including fitting , fixing 100 mm dia Tie Bar & Tie post @ 2.25 m c/c including fitting & fixing 3 nos. 100 mm dia runner fitted & fixed complete.

Direction and Place Identification Signs upto 0.9 sqm Size Board. Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75 x 75 x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 x 45 x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
