Contract Details

Inspection, tuning, callibration,connecting of cable, rewiring where required from controle panel to controle switchs and other equipment of auto functional system ,detection of fault and rectification, commisioning of main controle panel to make auto functional and testing of complete fire fighting system. Assement of serviceability of all connected equipement of fire fighting system compraising of pump set,motor,pressure tank ,pressure guage ,pressure valve electric controle panel,cable, fire hydrant,hose reel box, vertical duct, controle valves , hoses, rubber reels, syron and measurig equepements to the satisfaction of Eng- in- Charge at DIBER technical area . Minor item like cable upto 1.5 mtr, insulation tape ,marker , lugs ,separater if required will be supply and fixed by contractor, cost of the same is deemed to be included in the item of work.Notes : (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts if required shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A` here in after.(ii) Detail inspection/serviciability report will be submitted by the contractor cost of the same is deemed to be included in the item of work all as directed to the satisfaction of E in Charge .

M&L for repair of old existing out door double door hose box doors, locking system and replacement of both existing broken door glasses with existing size complete with rubber beading and denting/welding all as required at site and directed.

M&L for repair of old existing double door duct doors, locking system, hinges and replacement of both door glasses of existing size complete with rubber beading and denting/welding all as directed to the satisfaction of E in Charge

M&L fire hose box made out of MS sheet having thickness 18 gauge, double door, out door with glass pane, with locking arrengement of size L X W x D (800mm x 600mm x 250mm) fixed on two GI angle iron legs of existing size, duly painted with two coats sythatic enamelled red paint over a coat of red oxide primer and in side with white colour, including PCC foundation suitable for placing two nos of hose reel of size 15 mtr long and nozzel complete,including dismaintling of old existing one complete all as directed.

Supply and laying Rubber insulating mats for electrical safety floor coverings in areas 1 mtr x 2 mtr 19 mm thick size

M & L for Painting of steel/iron surfaces of fire fighting system with existing colour single coat of synthetic enamel paint over old painted surface incl preparation of existing surfaces all as directed.

M&L for MS pipe 80 mm bore heavy duty and fixing with existing system by welding etc including rubber coating to the pipe taking out existing one all as directed make bansal or electro steel

M&L for lifting out and removing non functional submersible pump set of any description and capacity (7.5 HP to 10 HP) & in any position, alongwith existing column pipe 50mm dia and existing submersible cable of any size from the bore well (approximately 500 feet depth of pump set from GL)after disconnecting the electrical connection from panel, dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve, and staking the pump and column pipes near by the bore well for inspection complete all as specified and directed . (including notes mentioned here in below) Note for items No 39 :- 1. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 2. Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 50, The existing pipes , screwed and socket joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints alongwith flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new socket and nut bolt, the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. However replacement of pipes if any required shall be measured & paid separately.

M&L in replacement of existing U/S MS water tubing as in column pipe, 50mm bore, medium grade of thickness 4.5mm, ISI marked, conforming to relevant IS for column pipe in required length but length not more than 3.00 mtr, both end threaded. One end internally and other end externally threaded and duly welded with pipe using 4 Nos MS strips of size 20x 3mm in triangular right angled shape with provision of 04 Nos holes and side slot for passing submersible cable on threaded end, including painting with two coats of anti corrosive bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out & removing old burnt out windings wire of the submersible electric motors of 7.5 HP, Three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply capacity and rewinding of submersible electric motors with existing size PVC insulated, copper conductor wire including cleaning the slots with carbon- tetra-chloride solution before rewinding ,transportation to site complete all as specified and directed Notes : (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A` as supply only but fixing charges of the parts replaced/repaired is deemed to be included in the above quoted rates. (ii) The windings of motor including windings wire and connected material is deemed to be included in the quoted rates

Dismentalling of submersible pumpset of capacity 7.5 HP cleaning and inspection of parts removal all defective parts & replacement of defective impellers, bushes, shaft, locking pin and non return valve,rematling and repairing of repairable item reassembling testing and commissioning all as directed by eng in charge.Notes : (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately under this item saperately as supply only but fixing charges of the parts replaced/repaired is deemed to be included in the above quoted rates.

Lowering down of the submersible pump set of any description and any capacity & in any position, in bore well alongwith column pipe 50mm dia and submersible cable of any size (approximately 500 feet depth of pump set from GL) including making necessary electric connections and providing water tight cable joint & testing the pump set after lowering complete all as specified and directed (including notes mentioned here in below) NOTES :- 1. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lowering pump set in bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lowering of pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 2. Rates quoted by the contractor for the above item includes the cost of assembling & connecting pump set to column pipes & assembling, jointing and fixing column pipes with MS internally threaded flange welded with column pipe by using 04 Nos 20x3mm MS strips and thereafter jointed with rubber gasket joints and nuts, bolts / pump set at the end / submersible cable and making necessary connections and testing including reconnecting water supply system. The required materials like column pipe /flanges with rubber gasket joints/ submersible cable/ repaired pump sets etc shall be met out with old retrieved materials and additional quantity of column pipe, flanges with rubber gasket joints , submersible cable & straight through joint of cable shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this Schedule as “Supply only”, but the rate for its fixing shall be deemed to be included under this item.

Disconnecting and removing of following old existing non functional booster pump / centrifugal pump of any description and in any position, dismantling and strip opening of the motor and pump, for carrying out repair/ servicing /overhauling mechanically and electrically, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, ie bearing,connecter, fan blade, nuts and bolts etc with and including removing the old existing burnt windings, cleaning the slots & rewinding of the electric motor 7.5 HP operating on 415 V, 3 Phase, 50 Hz AC supply with existing gauge super enameled copper wire, including insulating material such as illuminous paper, Letherized paper, cotton tape, glass sleeves insulating varnish etc and any trasportation to workshop if required,and fixing the same in position and testing on full load complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A` as supply only but fixing charges of the parts replaced/repaired is deemed to be included in the above quoted rates. Disconnecting and taking down the existing water chlorination doser from the existing location at pump house and testing to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge after cleaning and de-scaling the inner tank and other parts / accessories including inlet, outlet etc. as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, Note: Required screws, insulating tapes, gasketst and other minor items in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in respective item.

Supply only bleaching powder in 25 Kgs bag having 35 % chlorine contentof Ein C approved make.

M&L for Cleaning of UG sump of techanicall area and by draining out complete water removing deposits from bottem,scratching out silt ,dirt from surfaces of the tank of inner surfaces . carrying out two coat of lime wash on inner surfaces, after drying up of capacity 75000 ltr in two compartment, located at domesic area. All as directed and approved by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for plate earthing complete with galvanized mild steel plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (in earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level) with the top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level, connected to gaivanised iron strip 25 mm x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of gaivanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate no.3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion.
