| 5.00 | Cleaning and Surface Preparation:
The cleaning and preparation of the substrate to which the Smart Care Ultron Waterproofing cum Protective Coating system is applied must be carried out thoroughly to leave a sound base for the application. Any laitance present on the surface must be removed mechanically. Grinding the unsound and undulated concrete surface to make it a smooth surface. Surface defects exposed during surface preparation such as shrinkage cracks, minor honey combing, minor damage to joint arises, etc. shall be filled with Smart Care Epoxy Primer mixed with oven dried silica sand.
Priming of the Substrate:
The surface shall be primed using a two component, anti-carbonation, anti-corrosive fast drying, and high-performance epoxy primer; Smart Care Epoxy Primer at a minimum consumption of 300 gms per sqm to improve their adhesion to existing concrete substrate. The temperature of the substrate shall be min. 3 degrees above the dew point.
Brush or Roller Application of UV Resistant Acyclic Polyisocyante Reticulant Waterproofing Membrane:
The top sealer for use on exposed areas shall be a pigmented, moisture curing, UV and weather resistant, protective acrylic polyisocyanate reticulant based top sealer, Smart Care Ultron. The coating should be applied at a consumption of a minimum of 2Kgs per sqmts in 3-4 thin coats of no more than 500 gms per sqmts via means of brush, roller, or spray application.
The coats with a 50 gsm non oven polyester mesh sandwiched between 2 coats.

M&L for tile joint chemical cleaning and re-grouting carefully by washing the existing tile with heavy duty tile cleaner preferbly of M/S Pidilite or equivalent cleaner, again washing with fresh jet water, scratching the joints and filling the same with (white/matching colour) epoxy tile grout of M/s Pidilite, ROFF RTM epoxy or equivalent, or equivalent , curing , cleaning the surface etc, complete all specifed and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Cleaning the surfaces of existing RCC Slab with wire brush and M&L for application of one coat of CORE COAT LP (F) minimum 1mm thick (12 to 14Sqm per coat for 1mm thick coat per pack) or equivalent approved in PIDILITE and grouting with a coat of neat cement slurry using 2.70 Kg /Sqm of cement admixed with liquid water proofing admixture and one coat of SBR cement complete all specifed and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make :- Core coat shall be of Buildcore Chemical /or equivalent approved product of PIDILITE.
Cleaning the surfaces of existing RCC Slab with wire brush and M&L for application of 2 coats of Fastflex, minimum 1mm thick (1.5Kg/sqm) or equivalent approved in PlDlLlTE and grouting with cement slurry using expansive additive Pidicrete AM, @ 225gm/bag of cement and one coat of SBR latex complete all specifed and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make :- PIDILITE or equivalent, all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for treating the dampness of wall with Siliconate injection grout (The spacing of holes shall be 2 Nos holes in every 1m) by making 12mm to 15mm holes at an inclination of 455 degrees to the extent of 112 to 3/4 of the wall thickness and inject the diluted chemical liquid (1 :4) (Min 10 Ltrs), in the lowest possible point by using a pressure grouting machine with a pressure of approximately 3 Kg/sqcm' till the point of return of liquid and seal the treated holes with suitable compound and washed thoroughly the treated areas with water complete all specifed and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L Plain Cement Concrete type B-1, (1:2:4) (20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in Coping bed plate,hold fast etc,block benching,channeling slightly rounded or chamfered angle and throating including form work and finishing all exposed faces of cement concrete complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Plain Cement Concrete type D2 (1:4:8) using 40 mm graded aggregate as in Foundation, Filling and Mass Concrete, complete all as specified and as directed.
Mild Steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length, bend to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F Galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire staples or steel pins etc (each line wire to be measured) as in repair.complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Anti Termite Treatment of soil under existing floors using emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300mm apart including drilling and plugging 12mm dia holes with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Anti Termite Treatment along the external wall below concrete ormasonry apron using chemical emulsion @ 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling and plugging holes etc. in apron.complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Anti Termite Treatment for furniture using pesticites as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and as directed.
NOTES: 1. The amount of schedule of credit shall be deducted from the total of this BOQ for arriving at contract sum. 2. The rates for RCC/PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork, shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the item. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
