PUBLIC SANITATION FACILITY

Clearing the site of the work by cutting, uprooting and removing bushes, shrubs, rank vegetation, grass, undergrowth, roots and stumps, and removal of rubbish and other objectionable materials lying on the site, including dressing and levelling of the cleared surface to the required grade, stacking of serviceable material separately as directed and disposal of all unserviceable materials, malba and rubbish outside the site boundary within the specified lead, including all labour, tools, tackles and supervision required for the work.

Earth work in excavation for foundations, footings, column pits, plinth beams and trenches in all kinds of soil (ordinary/hard/soft rock as encountered) to the required width, length and depth as per drawings, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms to correct level and grade, getting out the excavated earth from the pit/trench, stacking useful excavated earth within the specified lead for use in backfilling, and disposal of surplus/unserviceable excavated earth with all lifts and lead as specified, complete in all respects as per approved drawings/specifications and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation for septic tank, soak pit, inspection chambers and other underground structures in all kinds of soil to the required dimensions and depth shown in drawings, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, dewatering by suitable means wherever water is encountered, shoring and strutting where required, and disposal of surplus excavated earth within the specified lead and lift, complete with all labour, tools and plant. Complete in all respects as per approved drawings/specifications and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations and around structures with available excavated earth (excluding rock fragments), spread in layers not exceeding 200 mm loose thickness, each layer watered, rammed and compacted with mechanical/manual means to the required density, including dressing, levelling and disposal of any surplus material, complete with all labour, tools and plant. Complete in all respects as per approved drawings/specifications and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete of nominal mix 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate of specified nominal size) in foundations, levelling courses and bed concrete, including batching, mixing in mechanical mixer, laying in position, compacting by vibration/ramming, finishing the top surface and curing for the specified period, complete with all materials, labour, tools, plant, scaffolding/shuttering where required and testing of cubes as directed. Complete in all respects as per approved drawings/specifications and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete plinth protection of specified thickness all around the building, laid to the approved slope away from the structure, including preparation and compaction of sub-grade, laying and compacting the concrete, providing construction/expansion joints as required, finishing the top surface smooth and curing for the specified period, complete with all materials, labour and tools. Complete in all respects as per approved drawings/specifications and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying design mix reinforced cement concrete of Grade M25 in foundations, footings, pedestals, plinth beams and other structural members below plinth level, excluding the cost of reinforcement and formwork (paid separately), including design/trial mix, batching, machine mixing, transporting, placing in position, compacting by mechanical vibrator, finishing to true line, level and grade, and curing for the specified period, complete with all materials, labour, tools, plant and testing of cubes as directed. Complete in all respects as per approved drawings/specifications and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying design mix reinforced cement concrete of Grade M25 in columns, beams, lintels, slabs, chajjas, canopies, staircases and other structural members above plinth level, excluding the cost of reinforcement and formwork (paid separately), including design/trial mix, batching, machine mixing, transporting to the required height/location, placing in position, compacting by mechanical vibrator, finishing to true line, level and grade, and curing for the specified period, complete with all materials, labour, tools, plant, staging and testing of cubes as directed. Complete in all respects as per approved drawings/specifications and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and removing centering, shuttering, strutting and propping for reinforced cement concrete foundations, footings, pedestals and similar members, including alignment, camber and level as per drawings, use of approved shuttering material, and dismantling/striking of formwork after attainment of requisite strength/curing period without damage to the concrete, complete with all labour, materials and tools. Complete in all respects as per approved drawings/specifications and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and removing centering, shuttering, strutting and propping for reinforced cement concrete columns, including alignment, plumb, bracing and supports of adequate strength, and dismantling/striking of formwork after attainment of requisite strength without damage to the concrete, complete with all labour, materials and tools. Complete in all respects as per approved drawings/specifications and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.
