Excavation in earth work in hilly area by mechanical means all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Roads 2014 (revision I) & Clause 1603.1 & 1603.2 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding.. any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The recovery of 109.92 Cum (one hundred nine point ninety two cubic meter) @ 300/-Cum (Three hundred Per Cubic meter) amounting to Rs.32976 /- (Rupees thirty two thosuand nine hundred seventy six) only shall be done on prorate basis for the quantity of cutting in earth work effected or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits spreading , grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 complete as per technical with any lead Technical Specification Clause 303.1 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, for (Grading - I) spreading in uniform layers with grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the required density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401.or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and Laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of 63 mm to 45 mm (Sixty three millimetre to forty five millimetre) sizes to water bond macadum spcification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 (Three) wheel roller 80-100 KN (Eighty by Hundred Killo Newton) static roller in stage-II to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, requisite type of screening/ binding materials to fillup the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density in Grading - 2 by manual means as per technical specification clouse 405 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and Laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of size 53 to 22.4 mm (Fifty three millimetre to Twenty two point four millimetre) sizes to water bond macadum spcification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 KN (Eighty by Hundred Killo Newton) in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening / to fillup the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading-3 by manual means as per technical specification clouse 405 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen Emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at rate of 0.70 to 1.00kg (zero Point seven zero to one kilogram)/sqm using by mechanical means as per Technical Specification clause 502 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm (Zero point two five to Zero point three zero kilogram per Squre metre) on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm (twenty millimeter) thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm (thirteen point two millimeter to five point six millimeter) aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulson required line grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared surface/base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN (eighty-one hundred kilo newton) static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type B as per technical specification Clause 506 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type-B with bitumen VG-10 as per Technical Specification Clause 508 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling with excavatated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting /excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, sides slopes, width,camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer – in – charge hauling and stacking of materials usefull or construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner filling of unebenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as per the direction of Engineer-in –charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry any loss to the public or privare property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying concrete for plain concrete in open foundations complete including form work and curing as per drawing and technical specification clause 802,803,1202 and 1203.mechanical mixed 1:6:12 (One Cement:Six Sand:Twelve graded crushed stone aggregate) of 40mm (Forty Milimeter) nominal size or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Stone masonry in cement mortar for sub structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 702,704,1202 &1206 2nd sort in cement mortar 1:6 ( One cement :Six sand) up to any height or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and Laying concrete for plain concrete in open foundations complete including form work and curing as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 P C C 1:4:8(one cement: four sand: eight graded crushed stone aggregate ) 40 mm (Forty milimetre) nominal size or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Construction of Random Rubble dry stone masonry for retaining walls,breast walls, revetment walls and parapets etc. for sub-structure and super structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 704.6 and 1604 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Back filling with granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specifications 1206.3 complete or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Stone masonry in cement mortar for sub structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 702,704,1202 &1206 2nd sort in cement mortar 1:4 ( One cement :four sand) up to any height or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing, and laying reinforced cement concrete 900mm diameter (Nine hundred millimeter) pipe NP3 as per design for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement: two sand) but excluding excavations, protection works, back filling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets as per drawings and technical specifications for Rural roads clause 1101 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying dry rubble stone flooring laid over cement concrete bedding complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1303.3 complete or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 PCC Grade nominal mix 1:5:10 (one cement : five sand : ten graded stone aggregate) of 40mm (forty millimeter) nominal size or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Construction of V-Shape PCC drain 0.474x0.35 metre having 10cm thick in cement concrete 1:3:6 (one cement : three sand : six graded stone aggregate) 20mm nominal size), mechanically mixed placed in foundation compacted by vibration and curing complete ensuring non segregation conforming as per section 1606.1 of HPPWD Specification including the cost of form work, earth work and hauling of materials and machinery or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and erecting a metal modified "Thire" beam crash barrier comprising 3mm (three millimeter) thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail 85cm (eighty five centimeter) above road/ground level fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150x75x5mm spaced 2m (two meter) centre to centre, 2m (two meter) high with 1.15m (one point fifteen meter) below ground level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanized by hot deip process, all fittings to conform to IS: 1367 and IS: 1364, Metal Beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a space of channel section 150x75x5mm (one hundred fifty into seventy five into five millimeter) 546mm (five hundred forty six millimeter) long complete as per MORTH specification (5th revision) clasue 811.3 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and Fixing typical PMGSY information sign board with Logo as per MORD specification and drawing three MS plate of 1.6mm(one point six millimeter) thick top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 25mm x 5mm (twenty five millimeter into twenty five millimeter into five millimeter). The iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 Nos (two noumbers). 75mm x 75mm (seventy five into seventy five millimeter) of 12SWG sheet tubes parts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade block of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm (four hundred fifty millimeter into four hundred fifty into six hundred millimeter) , 600mm (six hundred millimeter) below ground level the top most plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm (forty seven millimter into forty seven millimeter) of 125 SWG steel plate tube. All MS will be stove enameled on both side dettering and painting arrows border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enameled paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All section of frame post and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing and clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 complete or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and fixing ordinary kilometer stone (pre-cast) with reinforced cement concrete M:15 design mix grade of standard design as per IRC 8 fixing in position including painting and printing etc. as per drawing and technical specification clause 1703 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and fixing 200 mtr. stone (pre-cast) with reinforced cement concrete M:15 design mix grade of standard design as per IRC 36 fixing in position including painting and printing etc. as per drawing and technical specification clause 1703 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and Fixing of "Citizen Information Board" asper specification and drawings two MS plate of 1.6mm ( One point six millimetre) thick duly welded with MS angle iron frame 25mm x 25mm x 5mm (twenty five millimeter into twenty five millimeter into five millimeter) size on edges supported with two Nos.vertical post and two Nos. horizontal post madeof 75mm x 75mm (seventy five millimeter into seventy five millimeter) of 12SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade block of 600mm x 600mm x 750mm (six hundred millimeter into six hundred millimeter into seven hundred fifty millimeter) , 600 mm (six hundred millimeter) below ground level. All MS will be stove enameled on both side lettering and painting arrows border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enameled paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All section of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing and clause 1701 or as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
