HV INSTALLATIONS

UNITISED SUBSTATION : Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Unitised Sub Station comprising of 1 No. 11KV 630A, 350MVA indoor Load Break Switch (with HT Metering facility) along with 250KVA, 11KV/433V, 50Hz, dry type Transformer confirming to IS 2026/IS 11171 with off-load tap changer for +5% to -5 % in steps of 2.5% and cable terminal boxes and all other standard and statutory fittings as per Standard, including Civil works such as Trenches with covers/Foundations/Plinth etc. all required for installation of the equipment and leading and positioning of the USS and carrying out erection and commissioning, including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge

H T TOD METER : Supply and installation of HT TOD meter inside the USS of item 1.0 above, with required test terminal block, fuses, copper cable for giving connections to the meter, etc., and also testing the unit from TMR division Shornur/Kannur. including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge

Supply and laying of 11KV XLPE AL conductor UG cable of 3 x 240 sqmm, conforming to relevent IS, and laying the same in pre-built trench/on wall/through pipes etc., and providing cable route markers as per Standard and providing necessary cable clamping as required, including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge

HT CABLE TERMINATION : a) Supply and making heat shrinkable 11KV Outdoor cable termination for 3x240 sqmm XLPE cable and mounting the termination on KSEB’s terminal structure and earthing gland as per Standards etc., complete including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge

HT CABLE TERMINATION : b) Supply and making heat shrinkable 11KV Indoor cable termination for 3x240 sqmm XLPE cable and connecting to the incomer side of HT switchgear panel in the Electrical room, including earthing of gland etc., complete including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge

EARTHING : a) Plate Earth stations : Providing plate earthing station using 1200 x 1200 x 12 mm CI plate, with water pipe, funnel with wire mesh, earthing stip clamps, terminal electrode etc., coforming to IS 3043 with latest amendments, including excavation in all classes of soil, construction of inspection chamber with cover having lifting provision etc., complete as per Standard. including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge

EARTHING : b) Earth grids : Supply and laying/fixing of earthing conductor of copper strips/wires, on walls/trays/trenches, pulling through pipes etc., including necessary clampings and jointing as per IS 3043/87.including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge Copper Flat 25x6mm

STREET LIGHTING : Supply and erection of 80mm GI class B pipe of 3.0 mtr length, on top provided with 3.0 mtr 65mm GI class B pipe (GI pipes - Tata/Jindal/equivalent) 65mm GI pipe shall be shaped as bent at the top and cut and welded for fixing Street Light luminaire at a top vertical angle of 60deg extending horizontally to 750mm (as per detail drawing provided). The 80mm pipe shall be suitably sealed at the pipe bottom with 150x150x4mm MS plate, including necessary earth excavation and carrying out PCC (1:2:4) block of 30x30x100cm to install GI pipe within earth, and back filling, and carrying out necessary coping for GI pipe using bricks and cement. All Gi pipes/MS plates and fittings shall be degreased and applied with one coat of Epoxy primer and two coats of Marine Hardtop paint (gray).including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge

Providing Coil/Spiral Earthing using 8 SWG GI Wire closely wound 115 turns of 50mm dia for Street Light Poles, GI Wire buried to a minimum depth of 1.5 Mtr with excavation, refilling and connecting GI Wire to Pole using GI Bolt and Nut, complete as required, including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge

Supply of 130x130x77mm weather resistant polycarbonate IP66 Terminal box for outdoor installation (HENSEL or equivalent), with cover and housed with terminal blocks (4 incoming and 4 outgoing), and fixing the same on 65mm GI pipe for Street Light fitting of item no: 1.0 above, including supply of proper clamps, screws, bolts etc., and giving connections as required, including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge

Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 60W/75W LED Street Light Luminaire having Aluminium pressure die-cast powder coated housing IP65 with Acrylic cover and with output greater than 100 lumen/W 4000-6000K with IP 66 protection, PF greater than 0.95 and duly wired to use for 230V AC supply. Driver compartment shall be seperately accessible for maintenance, including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge

CABLING AND TERMINATIONS : Make of Cable: Gloster/Havells/Polycab/V-Guard Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of ISI certified PVC/XLPE insulated 1.1KV grade armoured Aluminium cables of following sizes : a} In ground at a depth of 0.75 Mtr as per Standard practice using Double Walled Corrugated (DWC) pipe of 50/38mm, made out of HDPE conforming to IS 14930 Part - II, for mechanical protection of Under Ground cables, with required 50/38MM snap fit couplers including excavation of earth and refilling etc., complete and providing cable route markers including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge 4 x 16 sqmm cable

b) In ground at a depth of 0.75 Mtr as per Standard practice using Double Walled Corrugated (DWC) pipe of 50/38mm, made out of HDPE conforming to IS 14930 Part - II, for mechanical protection of Under Ground cables, with required 50/38MM snap fit couplers including excavation of earth and refilling etc., complete and providing cable route markers including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge 4 x 10 sqmm cable

c) Terminations : Supply of all materials and carrying out cable end termination for the following cables using brass cable gland, compression type copper crimping lugs, gland earthing of adequate size, etc., complete as required including charges for all materials, labour, conveyance etc. complete required for the work as per the direction of Engineer - in charge 4 x 16 sqmm cable

KSEB/EI - LAISON WORK : Preparation of Electrical schematic and other relevant drawings and submitting to the Electrical Inspectorate, getting approval for the scheme, complete, including laison works with Inspectorate, and also preparation of relevant drawings and completion report and submitting to KSEB for getting power allocation and availing power supply, complete, including laison works with KSEB.
