SCHEDULE 'A' EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY

Taking up under ground cast iron water mains,250mm size (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and also recovering lead complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No.2 above but of size 200mm size complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No.2 above but of size 100mm size complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No.2 above but GI pipe of size 50mm size, fixed on wall/shaft or laid on floor of multi storied bldg upto 8th floor complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

DI pipes conforming to IS:8329 with spigot/socket end joints,centrifugally cast,class 'K-9' laid in trenches including alongwith one set rubber gasket for joining each length of pipe (EPDM gasket conforming to IS:5382/1985) and connecting up of Ductile iron pipe 250mm (10'') dia size (length of one piece of pipe shall not be less than 5 RM) including supplying , laying ,jointing,testing and commissioning ,complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No.6 above but of 200mm (8") size complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No.6 above but of 100mm (4") size complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

DI specials IS:8359 pipes suitable for spigot socket ends pipes i.e. bends increasing,decreasing,tee pieces ,collars, caps and plugs of size upto 250mm bore complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

CPVC pipe SDR 11 having inner dia 50mm with plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings and fixed with solvent on walls/shaft or laid on floor of multi storied building upto 10 floor,including all accessories complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Sluice valve of size 250mm bore 1.6 PN with brass spindle both end flanged and drilled with necessary holes,nuts,bolts,rubber gaskets etc. with iron wheel including flange joints and making necessary arrangements to fix in position confirming to IS 780 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cast iron Air release valves with two air outlets 50mm dia confirming to relevant IS 14845 including all jointing materials viz rubber gasket joint,MS bolts,nuts and washers etc.including fixing up in ductile iron water supply mains size 200mm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

CPVC ball valve with handle,50mm inner dia brass high pressure, with polythene float and fly nut complete screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of 200mm thick PCC solid block wall masonry valve chamber of internal size1000x1000x1200mm using PCC 1:3:6, type C1,built in CM 1:4 with 100mm thick PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D-2,over 15cm thick hard core,15mm thick plaster to internal surfaces and external surfaces up to 15cm below ground level and top of floor in cement and sand mortar 1:4,finished even and smooth without using extra cement,3.15mm thick MS sheet cover including 50mmx50mm x6mm thick MS angle frame fixed in PCC 1:2:4,type B1 coping with 25mmx6mm flat iron hold fasts,handle,hinges with locking arrangements , applying one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint to all steel surfaces and earth work in any type of soil including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50M complete all as specified,shown on drawing and as directed.

Excavating in trenches in soft/loose soil, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth.and getting out of soil for foundation etc. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in trenches, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 M and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge.

Road cutting 1.0 M width and 1.20 M depth including excavation,returning, filling in,spreading levelling,well ramming in layers,soling with broken boulders / stones, WBM 7.5 cm thick coarse aggregate and laying of bituminous premixed semi densed asphaltic concrete 25mm consolidated thickness with paving bitumen laid with mechanical paver and rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge.

PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
