Design, construction, testing and commissioning of 1.40 MLD water purification treatment plant in shape of rapid sand filters including cost of site development to adjust hydraulic levels as per contour plan and structural requirement cost of construction of civil works, hoisting and errection of steel works, Providing and installation of mechanical equipment/machinery, laying of interconnecting G.I./ MSERW pipe and scouring arrangement from all units with disposal of the same to appropriate place i.e. near by Nallah/Khad/Natrual drainage all types of valve and all other contingent works near village Charri Khas capable of taking input and giving output as laid down in chapter-V of CPHEEO manual under all climatic conditions specified therein. The treat,ment plant includes construction of inlet chamber, raw water tank , PST with tube setteler,clarifloculator flash Mixture, Parshal flume, Rapid sand filter beds and pipe gallery, clear water tank , lime solution tank, Alum solution tank and Dozers, inter connecting path, (1.20 metre wide)Chemical house chemicals handling and feeding arrangement, chlorination unit, backwash unit with pumping set and Air compressor including arrangement for disposal of waste from water treatment process, plant building compring office, P/F lightening arrangement LED Lights made in the boundary unit in the plant area, P/F electoral mechanical equipment, proper wall way for inspection/operation of various units and boundary walls with fencing panel. Providing and setup of laboratory equipment etc. sizes shll be based on manual of water supply and treatment published by CPHEEO, Ministry of Urban development, Govt of india new Delhi. The scope also includes gaseous chlorination vased disinfection system at main storage tank.The design of various units shall confirm to the relevant BIS codes. All the hydraulic structure shall be designed and constructed in RCC. The scope of work shall be as per common design parameters technical specification and special condition appended in the DNIT. This further includes combination of various treatment units based on flow diagram given in the above manual for consideration of alternative proposals based on existing plants working under similar conditions with necessary performance certifications. The firm should quote its rates for its offered proposal with cogent reason/justification for adopting the particular method of treatment of water and design of relevant units which should be based oin recommendations of latest relevant codes/manuals onwater supply and treatment published by CPHEEO, Ministry of Urban Development, Govt of india, New Delhi. All the structures shell be designed for uplift pressure en-countered at footing as per counter plan uploaded, suitable protection structure shell be designed and provided to avoid direct entry of HFL water with in treatment premises. on complition of civil, Mechanical and electrical work, the Contractor shell test and run the plant for 3 Months. (Refer data sheet No. 2 A & Data sheet No. 7).

Excavation in foundation trenches etc. lift upto 1.50 mtrs. stacking the excavated soil lnot more than 3 mtrs. Clear from the edge of the excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers, when required into plinth sides of foundations etc. Consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth with in the lead of 20 mtrs. Pick work & jumper work 50% as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge with in all leads and lifts .
Laying jointing and testing of bevelled ended G.I. pipe (medium class )with circumfernital butt welded joints (94%) and GI flenged Joints by electric arc welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness ) and testing of G.I. pipe of following dia confirming to ISI 1239-1990 (with upto date ammendments) having wall thickness as specfied below capable of with standing required test pressure including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers/ tapers all short pipes required degree of bends etc . as per site requirement, made from parent tubes and earth work in trenches and the work of providing flanges i/c nats, bolts, gaskets will measured and paid separtely. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS: 814 of Advani oerlikon/L&T of ISI marked make . The rates also including entire carriage of material flushing cleaning and hydraulic testing of pipes D.P. test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge complete within all leads and lifts. Providing, Laying , jointing & testing of MSERW pipe 250mm dia ( Zinc Coated) conforming to BIS /ISO 3183-2007 of steel grade L-290 with circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding with minimum two layers /passes of weld capable to with stand required test pressure (minimum welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness in a random length of 5.5 to 6.5 meters ( having pipe diameter, wall thickness weight & frange table as specified below ) including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers/tapers, all short pieces, bends of required degrees as per site requirements made from parent tubes. The laying of pipe shall also include intermediate flanged joints spaced at an interval of 3rd pipe length or where ever required as per direction of the Engineer- in- charge duly welded in three layers ( two at outer & one on inner face) and all operations such as cutting , welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees i.e. lowering & laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level i/c flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge ( Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing flanges i/c nuts & bolts & gasket will be measured and paid for seperately). The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe and the pipes shall be factory galvanized ( Zinc coating both inside and outside ) as per relevant IS standard and the damaged portion of the pipes and specials ( if damaged during laying, jointing & operation of pipe) made from the parent tube, shall be provided anti corrosive bituminious paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specification C-203 -1978 . the welding electrod shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon / L&T or ISI marked make . The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing. DP test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer-in-Charge with in all leads and lifts.
