Excavation in soil in hilly area by mechnical means in all heights and depths, in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth lift upto all heights and all leads as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification of rural roads clause 1603.1. Minimum quantity of useful material such as stones, shingles, aggregates and slates etc. i.e 156.78 cubic metre, shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side properly, otherwise recovery @ Rs. 300/- per cubic metre shall be effected from the bills of the contractor. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation in road work in soil with hydraulic excavator i/c cutting and loading in tipper , trimming bottom and side slope , in accordance with requirements of lines grades and cross section and transporting to the embankment loction with in all lifts and leads upto 1000 mtrs., including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.

Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom, backfilling the excavation earth to the extent required and utilising the remaining earth locally for road work. including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.

Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 mix with crushed stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days. including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.

Stone masonry work in cement mortar 1:6 for sub structure complete as per drawing and technical Specification. ( Random rubble masonry ( coursed/ uncoursed with hard stone Cement mortar 1:6) including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.

Providing and laying of boulders apron laid in wire crate made with 4 mm ( Four milimetre ) thick G.I wire confirming to IS 280 and IS 4826 in 100x100 mm( hundred into hundred milimetre) mesh (Weaved diagonal) in all heights and depths including 10% extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 40Kg(Forty kilograms) each including carriage of materials by mechnical transport in all leads and lifts confirming with the MORTH Specification ( Latest revision) and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings & technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 Granular material. including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.

Construction of dry rubble flooring at cross drainage works for relatively less important works including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.

Providing Laying Reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2/prestressed concrete pipe for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row i/c fixing collar with cement morter 1:2 but excluding excavation protection works backing filling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets. 900 mm dia including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting GSB-construction of granaualar sub base by providing closed graded material mixing in a mechanical mix plant at O.M.C. carriage of mix material at site spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compecting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density complete as per cl.401 including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.

WBM Grading -II Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/ binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405 including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.

WBM Grading -III Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405 including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.

Low porosity Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502 including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared nonbituminous surfaces (cement concrete pavement) cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.

Providing and laying 30 mm (Thirty millimetre) thick VG-40 bituminous concrete with batch Type 60-90 TPH ( sixty to ninety tonne per hour ) capacity hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 ( Seventy Five) tonne per hour using crushed stone aggregates of grade 2 nominal size premixed with VG-40 (Guideline on use of VG-40 Bitumen in Road Construction) at the rate of Minimum 5.5 % ( five point five percent) of weight of mix and filler @ 2% (Two percent cement of weight of aggregates) with Evotherm dosage or equivalent @ 0.53 % (Zero point five three by weight of binder) (IRC:SP:101-2014) as per approved Job mix formula, transporting the Hot mix material to work site in clean insulated vehieve covered while in transit or awaiting, tipping and laying with a hydrostic paver finisher with sensor controll to the required grade, level, and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled vibratory and tendom roller to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH Specifications for Road & Bridge Works (Fifth revision-2013) Clause 505 complete including profile correction layer and patching of pot holes including movilization of plants and equipments by mechanical transport, including haulage of materials with in all leads & lifts with all modes of transportation and as per direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Nothing extra shall be paid for higher bitumen contents if required as per job mix formula.

Construction of hill side drain in accordance with the requirement of specifications true to lines and grades. Dimesions and other particulars as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1606.1 .Plain cement concrete M15 grade(1:2.5:5) including carriage of materials in all leads and lift as per directions of The Engineer -in Charge complete.
