LIGHTING UP OF CAR SHEDS IN TOWNSHIP OF FACT-CD, AMBALAMEDU

Supply of 650/1100V, copper conductor PVC insulated, extruded PVC sheathed, armoured, FRLS PVC outer sheathed YWY/YFY cable of size 3c x 1.5 sq.mm.

Providing new cable trench and laying of 3c x 1.5 sqmm, PVC insulated 650/1100V, armoured power cable in the trench. The scope shall include excavation of cable trenches for a depth of 0.6m, laying of cable, supply and laying of well burnt bricks of 50mm thickness for cable protection inside cable trench and backfilling of trench after laying cables .Cast iron LT Cable route markers (painted in RED colour) shall also be supplied and installed in every 15 meters above the cable trench. The cable shall be routed through GI pipes, wherever crossing the road. The required GI pipe shall be provided by FACT free of cost. The rates quoted shall be for the length of trench and not for the length of cables. Bricks shall be laid across the cable and not lengthwise. The cuttings made on roads shall be propely filled with PCC and cement plastered neatly,levelled/trowelled.

Laying of 650/1100V, PVC insulated power cable ( 3c x 1.5 sqmm) in existing trenches/racks/risers/walls/car shed structurals etc. The scope shall include laying, dressing, fixing on cable trays /racks /risers /walls /columns /cable trenches /pipes/car shed structurals, clamping, tying, drilling holes, minor civil work etc. All materials required for clamping and laying such as aluminium clamps, bolts, nuts, washers, cable tags, etc shall be supplied by the contractor. The cable shall be clamped in an interval of 300mm and supports if required for clamping the cable shall be welded to the existing structures if required.

Glanding and termination of cable and connection/installation of LED battens in the car shed. The scope of work involves glanding and termination of the 3c x 1.5 sqmm cable into the 4" x 4" GI box and connecting the LED batten using suitable flexible cable. The GI box with hylam cover shall be supplied by the contractor and shall be fixed to the car shed using MS flat supports welded to the MS structurals of car shed. Suitable PVC connecters shall be used for connecting the flexible wire of LED fittings. All the materials required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor.

Glanding and termination of 3c x 1.5 sqmm cable to the existing street light JB/GI box. The scope of work includes glanding , termination and connection of cables with suitable cable lugs, ferrules, arranging and dressing the leads / cables and clamping/tying the same at regular etc.

Supply of Single Compression type cable gland, Nickel plated Brass with ring, rubber bush, lock nut etc. suitable for PVC insulated, PVC outer sheathed, armoured 3C x 1.5sqmm power cable.
