Restorative Repair works

Chipping the RCC surface and cleaning the rusted reinforcement and exposed surface by wire brush mechanical device or any other established method and applying rust removing solution of approved make and quality with cotton waste swab to reinforcement and allowing to dry the same for 24 hours, brushing of loose particle and applying first coat of Rust preventive coating of polymker and cement slurry in 1:1:5 proportion with soft brush without adding water including applying another coat of Rust preventing after 4 hours allowing air curing for 48 hours etc including scaffolding etc complete.

Removing existing corrosion in MS/ torsteel bars by means of suitable light tapping wire brushing and applying rusticide rust converter of "Feovert" of Krishna conchem or equivalent approved make etc complete

Before the coat dries, embedd fibre mesh into the coat and let the coat dry completly 3. Apply 2nd coat of Dr. Fixit Hydroshield PUD Plus (Or Equivalent), perpendicular to 1st coat and let it dry. 4. 3rd coat to be applied as per specification perpendicular to second coat.and let it dry to achieve DFT of 0.8 1.0mm, coverage of approx. 0.6 litre/M2/coat is required. Allow complete drying between coats with a minimum of 3 to 4 hours depending on weather conditions 5. waterproofing warranty of 5 years of warranty in terms of 10% PBG & balance 5 years of warranty in terms of indemmity bond. The work should be carried out by certifified applicator of manufacture.

External Waterproofing Paint Dr. Fixit Raincoat :Providing and applying External Raincoat painting with crack filling Pidilite Company Product Dr.Fixit Rain Coat acrylic polymer based chemical compound coating to the extrnal surface of walls to prevent water seepage in the masonry walls during monsoon added with required shade steiner to give required shade to the surface in two coats.Including providing three coats of priming of Dr.Fixit prime seal polymer base primer including preparing surface scrapping the existing loose old paint , removing loose particles of sand on the surface opening and cleaning the crack developed in the external plaster, removing loose partuicles by chiseling, filling cracks by chemical compound of Dr.fixit crack - X with proper penetration etc. Coating of Raincoat with the help of brush and as per instruction and specification given by pedilite and with instruction from Engineer in charge. Work shall be executed by certified applicator only covering guarantee of 3 years on court stamp paper of Rs 500 /-and necessary testing etc complete.

Waterproofing of all internal surfaces of the tank: Provide & Apply Dr. Fixit Fastflex (Or Equivalent) on all surfaces as follows: 1. Ensure that surface is in SSD Condition 2. Apply first coat of Dr. Fixit Fastflex with brush or trowel 3. After first coat has completely dried(5 to 6 hours or as per ambient conditions), apply second coat of Dr. Fixit Fastflex and leave to air cure for 7 days .The contractor should submite waterproofing warranty of 5 years of warranty in terms of 10% PBG & balance 5 years of warranty in terms of indemmity bond. The work should be carried out by certifified applicator of manufacture.Contractor should produced the food grade certificate after waterproofing done to the tank.

Water proofing of joint roof floor using Roff Rainbow Tile mate Epoxy (Three Component epoxide resin based ceramic tile joint filler), as follows : 1. Tile Joints to be opened and cleaned to remove any loose particles 2. The 3 components of the Roff Rainbow Tilemate Epoxy shall be mixed in required proportions as per the manufacturers specifications 3. The grout shall then be filled into the opened joints ensuring that they are completely filled. 4. The surplus grout shall be cleaned from the tile joint surface with-in 10 15 minutes, using initially, a rough textures sponge dampened with clean water. 5. Any light residue left shall be cleaned off using a sponge and cleaner. II) Providing and Application of Dr.Fixit New Coat Water Proofing as per manufacturers specifications, as follows: 1. Application of primer, 2 parts of Dr. Fixit Prime Seal mixed with 1 part water, and applied to the surface in 1 coat. This dilution will cover approxately 7sq M. Allow to dry for 6 to 8 hours. 2. First coat of Dr. Fixit New Coat is to be applied undiluted over the primed surface. While the first coat is wet, a fibre mesh is to be embedded into the coat. The fibre mesh improves the performance of the coating, to take care of movement in cracks caused due to variations in temperature etc. Allow 6 to 8 hours to dry, depending on ambient conditions. 3. After the first coat is dry, apply the second coat, and wait for 6 to 8 hours to dry, depending on ambient conditions. 4. After the second coat is dry, apply the third coat and wait for 6 to 8 hours to dry, depending on ambient conditions. 5. After application of the third coat, leave to air cure for 7 days. etc. complete with 5 years guarantee.

Water proofing of Tile Joints on the bathroom floor /wall/ parapet wall: Repairing of joint tiles using Roff Rainbow Tilemate Epoxy (Three Component epoxide resin based ceramic tile joint filler), as follows : 1. Providing waterproofing of water tanks with Dr.Fixit Pidifin2k and Dr.Fixit Safeguard and fixing with Dr.Fixitb waterbase SW2020 (or equivalent BASF/FOSROC/STP) on wall construction joints like slab and wall, lift joints etc during concreting work is on. Mechanically clean the RCC slab and wall with wire brush / coir brush to free from all loose materials like dust, dirt etc. Seal all honeycombs, pin holes, joints with Polymer Modified Moratr attain SSD condition. Apply first coat of Dr.Fixit Pidifin2k or equivalent BASF/FOSROC/STP rapid chloride permiability reduction in chloride ion penetratiopn , is 90% as per ASTM C 1202 : on properly rendered, cleaned RCC slab and wall with brush and allow it to dry for 6-8 hours. After drying of first coat apply second coat and sprinkled course sand on vertical surface. Allow 24 hours for full cure. Apply waterproof screed concrete 30-40 mm on floor and 12-15 mm waterproof plaster on vertical surface before admixed with Dr.Fixit Pidiproof LW+(or equivalent BASF/FOSROC/STP) IS : 2645 : as per standard @ 200 ml per bag of cement.. Cure the surface with water. Clean the surface with wire brush to remove all loose dust , dirt etc. Saturate the surface with water to reach SSD condition. Apply two coats of Dr.Fixit Safeguard (or equivalent BASF/FOSROC/STP) (pot life at 30C, hrs is 60-75, surface drying time at 30Cas per ASTM D-1649 6-8, water absorption ap per ASTM C 870 : 90- NIL, Food grade certification PASSES -Ref-USFDA-175-300, Antifungal activity as per EN 15458-06) by brush on SSD floor and wall by brush on an interval of 6-8 hours ijn between two coats. Allow the surface for full cure of 24 hours before use. Work shall be executed by certified applicator only and shall be guaranteed for 5 years on Rs 500 /- stamp paper.

Providing leak proof treatment by injection grouting wherever directed including making a hole in the flooring/wall, grouting a PVC pipespout and injecting cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound of approved make, under a pressure of approx. 3m head, removing a PVC pipe spout and sealing the same, making good the same;all complete as directed.(Cement 0.30 bags per injection)

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets of JSW,Jindal,Tata Manufacture (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineerin- charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.
