M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600*600*6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 m below ground level with the top edge of earth plate at not less than 1.5m below ground level connected with 25mm *4mm GI strip by means of bolt washers and protected by 50mm bore, medium grade GI pipe, funnel with 20mm bore GI medium grade watering pipe, wire mesh, copper lugs including concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, Precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover slab of size 350*350*50mm, reinforced with 8mm dia MS TMT bars @ 15cm c/c both direction and 10mm MS handles of suitable size, charcoal or coke and salt in altenate layers, necessary earth work in soft/loose soil, all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of MES schedule Part I and testing, complete all as soecified and as directed. ( Notes :- (i) Unit rate includes main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point upto 7.5m (ii) On testing after completion if desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost complete all as soecified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
