Repairs to Bituminous approach roads leading to Yeddumailaram gate, Hill sump and other Internal roads of DSC area in estate at OFMK

Amount

Excavation : Rough exaction not exc. 1.5 m deep and getting ot in Hard / dense soils. Complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dresing : surface dressing of road berms not exc. 15 cm deep in soft / loose soils. Complete all as specified and directed.

Site clearence. Complete all as specified and directed.

Soling : Soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber 100 mm thick. Complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. Complete all as specified and directed.

BM : Material and labour for providing premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8-10 tonne capacity power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG-30 grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified. Mix design and specification for BM shall be as per SSR Part-I and/or IRC regulations.

Pothole Repair : Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumen (VG-30 grade), well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings). depth of potholes exc 30 mm. Complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. Complete all as specified and directed.

Tack Coat : Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen at 5 kg per 10 sq metre. Complete as specified and directed.

Excavation : Excavating over areas in hard/dense soil, n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out complete all as directed.

Premix Carpet : Bituminous premixed carpet, 2.5 cm minimum consolidated thickness, with 0.34 cu.m. of stone chippings mixed with 18.25 kg of binder (paving bitumen (VG-30 grade))per 10 sq.m and mixed in mechanical hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver and rolled using power roller 8-10 T capacity and compacted to required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surface. Complete as specified and directed. Mix design and specification for Premix Carpet shall be as per SSR Part-I and/or IRC regulations.

WBM : 10cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of grading 1 (90 to 40mm size) of granite, trap or basalt, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required

Reinforcement : Mild steel(TMT) bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips .

PCC : (M&L) - Plain Cement concrete (1:4:8), type D2 with 40 mm graded aggregate, in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified.

RCC :(M&L) - Ready-mix Cement concrete work in pavement/ hard-standing using Design mix concrete of grade M25 with 20 mm graded aggregate (pavement of thickness 20 cm.) complete all as specified and directed

Expansion Joint : Forming 12mm thick Expansion joints to 200 mm thk road filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘A’ and provided with 20 mm dia mild steel dowel bars 50cm long (25cm in each slab) with ferrules, spaced at 300 mm centres, including boring form work and preformed filler for dowels

Rolling Sub Base : Rolling of Soling of broken boulders or quarried stone, not exc 15cm thickness with power vibratory roller exceeding 5 tonne and not exc 8 tonne.

Hardcore : Hardcore(broken stone/boulder) of gauge n exc. 63mm deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exc.15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface.

Moorum : Supply and filling of Moorum/Red Bajri, filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and directed.

Stone Masonry : Walling of squared rubble, regular coursed, well bonded ,bedded and solidly hearted, built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

RCC Pipes : Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP3, 600 dia. laid and jointed Complete with collars
