Amount

The rates quoted by the tenderer shall deemed to be inclusive for the following provisions in addition to the other conditions specified in the tender documents. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained at a later date on this account:- [i] The repairs shall be done by skilled workmen in the relevant field to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall engage sufficient manpower for the entire period so that progress of work shall not be hampered due to non availability of labour at any time. [ii] The contractor on getting information through Site order / Works diary regarding the nature of repair to be carried out, he shall immediately respond to the same and make all out efforts to carry out the same on priority within 48 hours. In case of any delay in responding / attending the repairs within 48 hours, the GE may at his absolute discretion impose penalty on the contractor at Rs. 100/- per day per each work ordered upto 05(Five) days and Rs. 200/- per day thereafter till completion of the work in case of delay without valid reasons as decided by GE. [iii] Further, the above penalty is applicable even for the multiple locations of work at the same period. It is the responsibility of contractor to make suitable arrangements for attending the repairs simultaneously at all the places. [iv] The decision of the GE as to whether a particular repair has been attended or not on a particular day will be final and binding. The above penalty shall be in addition to the provisions made in clause 50 of IAFW-2249 i.e (Compensation for delay in completion of work).

Removal of existing sunken floor treatment including taking out of cement plaster and preparation of surfaces with wire brushes, cleaning with water and applying chemical treatment with Sika sealcoat 107 or equivalent chemical to bottom and sides as per manufacturers instructions and providing 10mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 mixed with and including water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement to cover entire portion including testing the sunken floor for 48 hours duly filled with water complete all as per manufacturers instructions and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. [Note: The work shall be executed by authorised agency of the chemical]

Note:- The Chemical solution and agency used in treatment to be used shall be approved by GE before use and as these chemicals are toxin the same shall only be carried out through a trained /licenced person/ firm authorized for the purpose and Gloves, apron and protective gear should be used during treatment and all precautions taken during execution , . All necessary documents in this regard will have to be submitted before carrying out the work and claiming payment against this Item .

M & L for Cutting / Chipping the spalled loose concrete of RCC structural members and trimming, cleaning the surfaces of any thickness to receive Guniting / Plastering, preparing surfaces and applying a coat of Zinc rich epoxy primer to all steel surfaces as antirust agent, welding with and including steel wire Fabric / Mesh of aperture 75x25mm and 2mm dia of wire to existing reinforcement, applying a coat of Nito Bond AR of M/s. Fosroc Chemicals or M/s. Sika India Pvt. Ltd. or M/s. STP Ltd. or M/s. Choksey Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. or M/s Bostik India Pvt. Ltd as per manufacturer's instructions and providing pressure Guniting average 30mm thick at a pressure of not less than 6 KG / Sqcm in CM 1:3 duly mixing the mortar with and including polycrete admixture of M/s. Sika India Pvt. Ltd. or M/s. STP Ltd. or M/s. Choksey Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. or M/s Bostik India Pvt. Ltd. @ 2% of weight of cement, finishing the surface rough and finally rendering with 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 and finishing the top surface even and smooth without using extra cement conforming to proper geometrics to match with the existing surface including providing double scaffolding and safety measures as required and removal of the same on completion and disposal of demolished materials / debris outside MD land complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for treating the seepage of waste water through sunken areas of WC, bathroom and kitchen to the bottom slabs of contact area by filling FOSROC nitotile grout in the joints of floor tiles as per manufacturers instructions and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for grouting Fosroc renderoc plug chemical @ 300mm c/c to the external portion of floor trap sunken portions for arresting seepage and applying Fosroc brushbond chemical to the entire area and making good to the disturbed area and finished the surfaces to match with existing finishes complete all as specified and directed.
