REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF LT PANEL UNDERGROUND CABLES AND OTHER MISC ITEMS AT GRRC LANSDOWNE

Dismantling old unserviceable outdoor/indoor type switch gear panel alongwith assciated bus bar, metering, fuses, MCCBs,(U/S) switches, starters etc indication lamps including disconnecting power cables all as specified and directed by Engg-in-charge.

Material and labour for design ,supply, fabrication, Installation, testing and commissoning Factory made LT feeder pillar box outdoor type totally enclosed, dust and vermin proof, suitably ventilated, floor mounted, 415 volts, 3 phase and neutral, 50 Hz AC supply system, fully compartmentalized, both side openable, made out of 3.00 mm thick CRCA sheet, protection of enclousure IP-54 as per IS: 2147 of 1962 with pre-treatment and powder coated of approved colour including suitable frame work/support made out of suitable size angle iron/flat iron, front opening type with provision for cable entry, with proper ferrule and cable glands, internal wiring with PVC insulated multi stranded copper conductor FRLS cable of adequate size(minimum 1.5 sqmm), including required civil works/anchoring bolts for fixing, PCC foundation etc with and including following all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge (at MH Lansdowne):-

Notes for Item No 1 :- 1. Panel manufacturers should have in house powder coating plant with minimum 8 tank pretreatment of MS sheet facilities, dust free spray paint booth.(8 tanks pretreatment process includes: degreasing/water rinsing/de-dusting/water rinsing/activation/phosphating water rinsing/passivation). 2. Thickness of powder coating shall not be less than 80 microns and test certificate for powder coating shall be furnished along with LT panel 3. The panel manufacturer should have following certification: (i) CPRI certification degree of protection IP-54 ( should have IEC:61439-1-2 & IEC:60529 tests) (ii) CPRI certification short circuit with stand strength should be 50 KA RMS for 1 sec with initial peak of 105 KA (iii) CPRI certification rated current for short circuit not less than 5000A 4. All the electricals switch gear like MCCBs, MCB should be of same make 5. Drawing of panel board should be got approved from GE before fabrication. 6. Panel board should be fully compartmentalized in accordance to form 4 b of IEC 61439-1-2.

M& L, for earthing with galvanised steel earth plate of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground not less than 2.5 mtr below groud level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meters below ground level connected by 25x4 mm GI strip as earth lead by means of brass nuts and bolt, thimbles, check nuts, washers including concrete chamber of PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, with fair finish, inetrnal surface of concrete chamber shall be given internal dia 300mm X 300mm , 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 funnel with wire mesh, RCC pit cover of 320 x 320 x 80 mm size (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), adequate quantity of common salt, charcoal etc all, as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-1(2009) and specified incuding and provision of GI strip upto 7.5 mtr long with 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe protection and watering pipe of GI 20 mm bore, Medium grade, including all excavation and earthn work and connecting the earth strip to an earthing test point/panel including testing on completion complete alll as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge NOTE:- (1) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC (1:2:4) type B1, 80 mm thick reinforced with XPM weighting not less than 4 Kg/Sqm in lieu of CI cover (2) Cost of GI strip upto 7.5 mtr shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor and GI strip beyound 7.5 mtr will be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Sch A.

Disconnecting the old unserviceable ACSR and taking out the same complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-charge

Supplying, laying, commisioning and testing of 1.1 KV grade XLPE insulated PVC sheathed, steel armoured aluminum stranded conductor LT UG cable ( Conforming to IS 7098) ISI marked in trenches / ducts / through GI pipes under roads of size 16 sqmm 4 core (for connection to bldg from Feeder box) complete all as specifed and directed by Engg-in-Charge. Supply and laying HT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) ( Conforming to IS 7098) with stranded aluminium conductor, 11000 volts(Earthed) of 95 Sqmm, 3 core, ISI marked complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge. Note;- The earth work, GI pipe shall be measured and paid sepretely under appropriate item of Sch A

S&F Cable end jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable 95 Sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge.

M&L Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for poles,laying under ground electric cable and GI tubing (where provided for protection of cables), stay and getting out, trimming the sides, forming bottom surface to required level in any type of soil complete all specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge.

M&L for sand cushioning for under ground cable with layer of fine river dry sand 80 mm thick before laying of cable and 150 mm thick after laying of cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge. Note:- Punned (consolidated ) thicness of sand will be measured and paid.

M&L for un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HVP, type 1 with peak size 250mmx150mm x 40mm compliance with IS:5820-1970, as cable protection over sand cushioning perpandicular across the cable length wise in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge.

M&L for 100 mm bore GI tube light grade laid under road/culvert/drain fixed to pole wall with help of flat iron clamps etcfor cable protection and making good surface of road with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified & directed by Engg-in-Charge.

M&L for 80 mm bore GI tube light grade laid under road/culvert/drain fixed to pole wall with help of flat iron clamps etcfor cable protection and making good surface of road with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified & directed by Engg-in-Charge.
