Note:- (i) Contractors attention is invited to the point that entire requisite quantity of Exterior Emulsion paint, primer, OBD and wall care putty as catered in this BOQ shall be brought by the contractor in one go after approval of sample, in sealed manufacturer packing within 15 Days of date of commencement stipulated in work order No 1 and handed over to Engineer-in-Charge.

(ii) Engineer - in - Charge will keep the material after marking on its container, in safe custody and same will be issued to contractor as per site requirement. Entire quantity of Exterior Emulsion paint, primer, OBD and wall care putty etc will be recorded in MB as NOT TO ABSTRACT. Quantity of above said material shall be calculated based on manufacturer instruction and contractor shall submit necessary documentary evidence to EIC in support of consumption of material as per manufacturer instruction

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment of old surface including brooming down/steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke sot, mould, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spouts on wall complete and preparation of old decorated surface (plastered/unplastered) and applying one coat of white wash on walls incl cornices complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

All as per item No 1 here-in-before but applying one coat of white wash on ceiling

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment of old surface including brooming down/steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke sot, mould, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spouts on wall/ceiling complete and applying one coat of distemper oil emulsion, including filling of holes or unequal surfaces with wall putty complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment of old surface including brooming down/steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke sot, mould, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spouts on wall/ceiling complete and applying two coat of distemper oil emulsion, over a coat of primer including filling of holes or unequal surfaces with wall care putty complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of plastered surfaces of walls incl pilasters/cornices etc and applying one coat of Acrylic emulsion (exterior weather coat) paint in camouflage pattern of any tint as approved complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of plastered surfaces of walls incl pilasters/cornices etc and applying two coats of Acrylic emulsion (exterior weather coat) paint in camouflage pattern of any tint as approved over one coat of primer complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of existing surfaces of walls incl pilasters/cornices etc and applying one coat of Acrylic emulsion (exterior weather coat) paint of any tint as approved complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

Note for item Nos.05.00, 06.00 & 07.00 :- Contractor shall submit three years performance guarantee for Acrylic emulsion (exterior weather coat) paint on bond paper. Contractor shall also submit security deposit amount i.e. 2.5% of executed amount or Rs 6250.00 whichever is more in the form of FDR or same shall be retained from FB.

M&L for preparation/removing of rust/dust of existing surfaces of old steel surfaces, steel angle with wall brushes, sand paper, scrapping down rust/scales etc and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on steel surface of any description over 10cm in width or girth complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation/removing of existing surfaces of old steel surfaces, steel angle with wall brushes, sand paper, scrapping down rust/scales etc and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surface of any description over 10cm in width or girth complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted wooden surfaces of any description over 10cm girth or width and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of brick wall, concrete, kerb stone/appex stone, AC sheet or plastered surfaces etc of any description over 10cm girth or width and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation/removing of existing surfaces of old steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coats of epoxy paint over a coat of compatible epoxy primer complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for scrapping of existing wall surfaces with brushes, sand paper etc on old surfaces of wall/ceiling and applying 2mm thick, layer of wall care putty on wall/ceiling and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for writing letter or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) n.exc 30cm height painted with thick paint so that they stand out boldly without showing brush marks, finishing coat till desired satisfaction of Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for repairing the edge/corner of Chajja/roof projection and similar work by removing plaster width/girth not exc 150mm and making good with 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:3 to match with existing surface complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster in cement or cement lime mortar on brick or stone walls etc incl raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc including removal of debris out side Defence land complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick on stone masonry wall surface in CM 1:4, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.
