Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earth with all lead and lift within Airport premises.
Construction of embankment with approved materials (Good earth) obtained from borrow pits (outside airport premises) with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading grading to required slope and compacting upto 20 cm layers to achieve the desired compactions as specified in technical specifications (based on MORTH item 3.16) etc complete in all respects and as directed by Engineer- in-charge.

Deduct for taking away of steel work in frames, shutters, trusses, channels, beams, tee, angles, bolts, washers etc. and the like received from dismantling. The material so received shall be the property of contractor after dismantling duly weighted/measured before removing from the site in the presence of Engineer-in-charge of his authorised representative all complete.
